[SuSE Linux] trashing SiS6326 for 3d card

What pci video cards support 3d for linux? I'd like something with opengl support!!!!! I am trashing my SiS 6326 card finally. It is the worst video card that I've had the displeasure to own. For god sake don't buy anything by SiS. I was blaming linux for crappy drivers and I'm sorry it's just the card tha is crap. I even tried it with <cringe>win98</cringe> and it is strewn with errors. I did get it to work with linux but no 3d dupport (it can't do it) and the odd things that happened under <cringe>win98</cringe> were ridiculous. What pci video cards support 3d for linux? I'd like something with opengl support!!!!! You can pick one of those up in PCI form for pretty cheap. I paid too much for my 8mb PCI card when I dropped $60 US for it. [SuSE Linux] SuSE 6.0 printing problems; printing on only half a A4 page (upper part of it)

Hello All! Thanks for help with the other problem I had (Kppp and Wvdial now works perfectly). Kppp obviously is a rather mysterious application. It never worked alright before I got my internet connection up using Wvdial for the first time; then ... Kppp now works :-). Now I have an annoying problem with printing. I have an HP DJ 695c. And in Win98 it works alright. But in Linux :-( It's set up with the cdj550 driver. And in wordperfect 8, and some other applications it prints correctly. But with KDE, applix and Netscape it prints out all pages compressed to the upper half of an A4 page. I have tried to change the apsfilterrc settings from FEATURE=2n to FATURE=1n As in: ############################################################################## # (7) Here you can determince, how a2ps (ascii to Postscript converter) # formats your documents... # here you can select between 4 predefined choices # # NOTE: Useless if USE_RECODE_NOT_A2PS is set to "yes" # ############################################################################## # Description # ----------- # FEATURE=1 tell a2ps to print 1 page on one sheet with header # FEATURE=2 tell a2ps to print 2 pages on one sheet with header # FEATURE=1n tell a2ps to print 1 page on one sheet without header # FEATURE=2n tell a2ps to print 2 pages on one sheet without header # FEATURE=1l tell a2ps to print 1 pages in landscape with header # FEATURE=1ln tell a2ps to print 1 pages in landscape without header # # Default is FEATURE=1n Is this correct? It didnt change the printers attitude; it stil only prints in the upper half of the A4 page. (Even vith .ps files). Any sugestions? Can any one please provide me with a list of what do!! i want to make a webserver using ip alias, with suse 6,1 i have tryed several approaches but nothing seems to work!! not on suse anyway, i must be bypassing something importent. To Juergen and Lenz - Thank you for your help in fixing my printer problems. I have a working printer now. Lenz, you solved my ghostscript problem. Juergen, you solved the dead printer queue problem - "lpc enable all" - a command I'd never even heard of - fixed the printer. Thanks again.
