[SuSE Linux] Any Initio users out there?

Hello, i have download SuSE Linux 6.0 (beta) from the ftp site and have a problem. I generate a SCSI30 bootdisk because i use an Initio UW9100 SCSI controller. The problem is the Initio driver lock up after the detection of the first two devices (Harddisk, CD-Rom). I am running SuSE 6.0 with netscape communicator 4.5. I have plugins in the /opt/netscape/plugins directory and have set MOZILLA_HOME to /opt/netscape. However when I start up netscape, I get unable to find file /opt/netscape/plugins/xxxxxxx.so (whatever the plugin lib is). Yet the file is in that directory. Dear SusUser, I am trying to install Allegro CL on my Suse 5.2 machine. They suggest in "Readme file" to upgrade the Libc C library to the glibc-2.0.7-6 (or newer version). Q1 : Could I find glibc on Suse web Server ? Q2 : Would this cause any problem to my C, C++ (egsc, gcc) compilers ? Before that I go any further I thought better ask you ?
