[opensuse-factory] icon rendering broken in Gnome?

Hi, I'm running Factory in Gnome but since quite some time the icons are "broken" as in being rendered with errors. I'm running in VirtualBox so I first suspected vboxdrv to be responsible for that but now switched to vesafb and still get the same issue. Do others see the same or is it still VB related? [opensuse-factory] Software management installation summary dialog

Hi folks. Software management hasn´t been using pop-up window "Install more packages?" since 11.1 and it´s automatically closed. It was filed a few bugs( 462352, 440066, 441329, 421660) about this behaviour, but you decided to disable this feature. I still can't get familiar with this behaviour. It's a really annoying, especially if i forget install some packages and i have to launch software management again. I don´t know any mainstream distros, which close their software management after installation. Can you tell me, what is benefit of this behaviour? I still haven´t found any. I talked to Lado Slezak and Katka Machalkova on #yast and they told me, that the installation summary dialog probably won´t be enabled by default and i can use trick how to enable it. [opensuse-factory] Factory-update in YaST?

Hi, I have noticed that the Factory-update module in YaST doesn't work any more. It tells me that it's invalid to update from 11.2 Milestone 3 to Non-OSS Addons if I deactivate the non-OSS repo, it comes with a similar bogus message. I liked that module as a GUI variant of doing zypper dup, esp. because I could select packages that I want to keep or update to different versions (if multiple are available in the repo collection). Going into Software Installation and selecting to update all packages that have a newer version available works most of the time, but isn't a good replacement, and zypper dup isn't as flexible in terms of package selection. Is there any way to make the Factory-update module in YaST not detect bogus version info and block any further work with it? Is the module dead? Is there a good alternative that provides both the package replacement functionality etc. that zypper dup has and the flexibility of the package interface of YaST? updateTestcase files are filling /var/log. They appear to be generated when "zypper ref;zypper dup" is ran. Any chance of getting latest version (released ad feb-2009) of ssh in? Current version in 11.1 is openssh-5.1p1, while in some home directories on the OBS lingers openssh-5.2p1-11.1. Major advancement with 5.2 version (if enabled at compile time !!) is the possiblity to use certificates (PKI) instead of just asymetric pre-shared-keys. Hi! Are there plans to improve the gnome-main-menu experience in 11.2? Common gripes with the menu include the inability to clear recent documents, places by simple right click, Yast not labelled as administrator settings and the inclusion of more shortcuts to common utilities on the gnome-control-centre (currently only "Set preferred applications" present) among others.
