[opensuse-factory] Firefox notifications (downloads)

Hi, yesterday during testing of the plasma notification addon in Factory I noticed that I wasn't able to get any notifications w/o that addon anymore. I've tested Gnome and WindowMaker and downloaded files. Usually a notification popup shows up telling that the download is finished and I get that on 11.1 but I don't get it with the same* version of Firefox in Factory. Do others have seen any notifications from Firefox on Factory? If not, anyone an idea what could cause the issue? (Any Gtk+ changes probably?) [opensuse-factory] New package: MozillaFirefox-theme-oxygen

Hello mates, I have recently submitted MozillaFirefox-theme-oxygen to mozilla:Factory. Wolfgang Rosenauer has been very helpful with lots of feedback. I really appreciate his effort to guide me through the process of submitting a package to factory. This package contains the Oxygen icon set for Firefox. The author is Harald Sitter and it is published under the MPL, CC-by-SA or LGPL. So far, no security issues are known. Greetings, Javier

If I want to remove or add substantially all of a single DTE, such as XFCE, ICEWM, Gnome, KDE3 or KDE4, are there single meta-type packages designed to add or remove each with zypper to accomplish it? I've done rpm queries looking for such words as desktop, dte, meta, etc, and nothing jumps out at me. Neither does perusing output from a YaST2 search for something like KDE. One reason for this is I'd like to do a fresh install as quickly as possible to get a running system up without X, and have X added in the background after first boot, but other times I'd just like some more space on / or to eradicate failed upgrades. -- No Jesus - No peace , Know Jesus - Know Peace Team OS/2 ** Reg. [opensuse-factory] LiveCDs M4 - no network

Hi. I tried (not installed) both LiveCDs M4 and wired network connected via cable doesn´t work by default. Does anyone else have this problem? [opensuse-factory] Milestone 4 - partitioning

Hey Group; I downloaded Milestone 4 and attempted to install it on a multi partitioned machine. Every thing was good up to fdisks and doing a "Custom Partition". Apparently, none of the known partitions are mounted. Fdisk when asked for a lookup of the "/" directory is not done and Fdisk fails to be able to find /etc/fstab.. I tried manually mounting it and the problem still remained. Hey Group; On my Laptop (HP 6400) everything went correct until writing the boot loader "Error occurred when installing grub" and a blank xterm text window. Trying a reboot anyway. Seems to work OK. [opensuse-factory] Milestone 3 KDE sound

Hey Group; Bring up KDE and the sound is dead. It is not kmix and the Mute button. I have Amarok 2.1.1. that works prefect. However, now and then KDE comes up and no sound. The module is shown by lsmod and Yast2 Hardware Sound "Test" works correctly form a console "tty1". Come back to startx KDE and no sound.. This problem is not a gstream or phonon problem. It is a KDE problem somewhere. Add to this, sometime after about 10 to 15 minutes the sound will start working.
