With the latest update from Aug 26th I hoped, some of the issues I had are
solved and finally I can use firefox again which was one of the main issues.
But a few other things I am struggling with:
a) With rug I get dependendy problems updating cpp41, gcc41, gcc41-c++,
The following things I see since updating to 10.2 alpha versions:
b) metacity is not usable as window manager for gnome (I currently switched
to icewm), starting it at the command line I get the following:

I was not able to find anything about the mentioned key/directory name and
also google wasn't helping. Where can I start looking
c) At startup I get a message "Gnome Settings Deamon" couldn't be started.
After trying all solutions which I found, I completely reinstalled openSUSE
