[opensuse] Konqueror won't start - 15.0

One problem I've noticed is Konqueror won't start, unless I specify a URL. I've long preferred it to Dolphin as a file manager and sometimes find it useful as a web browser. When I click on the icon, it appears briefly in the task bar and then nothing. At the command prompt, entering just konqueror likewise fails. But adding a URL works. Sometimes, when trying to start it, I get an error: $ Illegal icon group: 7 libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile libpng warning: iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile KCrash: Application 'konqueror' crashing... [opensuse] I am having problems kmix shows no window

Another problem new to 15.0 that worked fine on 42.3. When I execute the kmix command, under fvwm2, I receive no window. Examination of the xsession-errors-:0 shows, along with a lot of other errors, QImage::scaled: Image is a null image QImage::scaled: Image is a null image QImage::scaled: Image is a null image QImage::scaled: Image is a null image X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty) Resource id: 0x1600226 I do not know if these are relevant. I tried executing the command again and did not see additional output. I haven't spent time trying to debug this yet, since I can find no documentation on kmix.
