[opensuse] package search?

I tried a few weeks ago and again today to look for a package outside the normal repositories in "package search". This url says it is down for maintenance: https://software.opensuse.org/search Has this been going on for a long time? [opensuse] How to Remove Packman

I received a security update for Lame, but it wouldn't install due to vendor change. I decided to remove Packman as I only use it for playing MP3 and it doesn't seem to be necessary for that anymore. So I went into yast2 sw_single and selected the repository view, and selected Packman and then selected Delete all packages in this list. I had to resolve dependencies which I did by selecting downgrade or de-installation in every case. One of the things it removed was Chromium. I then disabled Packman, and re-installed Chromium. But this seemed to re-install libmp3lame from Packman even though it was disabled. So I removed it again and then removed Packman, then re-installed Chromium. This time it installed libmp3lame0 from openSUSE-Leap-42.3-Update. [opensuse] Text-to-speech in Leap 15.0

Hello listers, I am trying to figure out if Text-to-Speech (TTS) will be fully functional in Leap 15.0. I use TTS (KDE) via Jovie in Leap 42.3. It is quite functional. However Jovie is no longer maintained and is being replaced by Qtspeech. As far as I can gather, Qtspeech is functional as of Qt5.8. If I understood the info from the Qt project. Which version of Qt is going to be in Leap 15.0? I looked through the 15.0 project page and OS wiki and through the Leap 15.0 repo packages but I could not figure it out. I know Qtspeech is eventually replacing Jovie, but in which version of KDE? And which version of KDE is going to be in 15.0? I am not quite sure where to look for more clarity. The relationship between Qt, Plasma and the KDE environment has become extremely confusing to me, especially with my visual impairment. I will have to upgrade to 15.0 sometime this year since the EOL of 42.3 is approaching. The question boils down to - will text-to-speech be functional in Leap 15.0 (KDE)? And if so, will it be based on Jovie or Qtspeech? This is a critical question for me, since I can not use the computer without TTS. I looked through the KDE accessibility pages but they are hopelessly outdated.
