Adding fonts?

Hi all, Reading some mails on the GIMP mail list, I ran across the procedure to install some more fonts for not only Gimp, but the system and StarOffice to use also. Well, I installed the fonts, went to the shell and issued the command xset fp+ <font directory> and then the rehash command and all fonts are there! Ok, that went well, but each time I restart the system, I have to do it all over again? [opensuse] Does 13.2+ work with shorewall properly yet? Read about wicked/systemd woes

Good day, I am trying to find out of shorewall is supposed to work with 13.2 properly, as I read about systemd stuff being in the midst of creation and wicked and sort of that things that make it problematic to run something different from susefirewall2. [opensuse] Namebench

There was a previews thread where namebench was mentioned. I thought it was the optimizing resolv.conf thread. Anyway this is a different issue. Id like to run it. [opensuse] Where can I get genIS_PLAINcache

Hi, I am trying to set up a simple repo, I read on the opensuse site about a binary called genIS_PLAINcache, because I can't see to find it or the package yast2-packmanager either. Can someone help. [opensuse] printer recommendation

13.2 Hi We currently have a HP printer which only works when the computer it is connected to is on. Is there a wifi printer we could use instead for laptops and phones? Whilst I can find information about the 'phone, no one has any information as to whether it will work from an opensuse laptop. Any recommendations based on experience using this setup? [opensuse] 13.2 & Firefox intermittent 'stalling' with excessive cpu

Hi All, This one has me really pulling my hair out. It started a couple of updates back and it hasn't improved since. I can be left waiting several seconds, up to 20 or 30 seconds or even more, when I close tabs, open new tabs, open new windows and close those windows. Because I keep several logged in sessions going at once and I 'context switch' like this many, many times throughout the day, these delays are badly impacting my work. To the best of my knowledge, I haven't added anything new to the mix, just installed the normal updates. [opensuse] change opensuse email addrs to different provider

I am changing internet providers and am failing to redirect my opensuse mail addresses. I went to novell/attachmate and changed my mail address from roadrunner to gmail and it appears to have set, but I am still receiving list mail to paka(a)opensuse.org via roadrunner (according to mail headers). https://en.opensuse.org/Special:Preferences indicates the desired change?
