[opensuse] tb font size

Hi 42.1 Thunderbird. How do we make the font bigger? I mean the font that is used to show the inboxes, and menus. Not the message body. It is too small to read. We've tried edit preferences display, but changing the font size and restarting tb is ignored. I haven't upgraded to Leap yet, I am waiting until I get some free time from work. But I have a question. [opensuse] About MP3 Patents

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3#Licensing.2C_ownership_and_legislation the MP3 patents have expired in Europe and will expire by 2018 in U.S. My proposal is to add the MP3 codecs to the openSUSE distribution. Regards, Martin.Vahi(a)softf1.com

[opensuse] New package signing keys every day?

Every day Zypper or PackageKit asks me, if I want to accept the new package key. Only the Virtualization repository shows this problem. Answering with "a" (trust always) does not help. [opensuse] Anyone installed openSUSE on an ASUS Zenbook UX305?

I'm thinking of getting an ASUS ZenBook UX305 for my wife. It comes with Windows 10 preloaded, but we would prefer to put openSUSE on it instead. Has anyone tried this? Successful? Any gotchas to look out for? I read a review <http://opensource.com/life/15/8/beautiful-super-thin-laptop-makes-fedora-sh…> which sounds very optimistic, but he couldn't boot the machine from a USB stick with installation media, even when Secure Boot was disabled. [opensuse] Seamonkey 2.38 is unstable

Is anyone using Seamonkey 2.38 successfully? My Seamonkey is very unstable. [opensuse] Leap sofware update insists I am offline

Hi all, I have both wired and wifi connection facility to the net. I am definitely online. Still, Sotware Updates (bottom right corner of system tray in KDE) insists that my system is offline. [opensuse] why can I not rename/mv a file when copy+remove works ?

This is mind boggling, to me anyway - on a very stable system, quite backlevel, I have some procedures/Makefiles that are run daily. I'm pretty certain noone has changed anything there for months or even years. A week ago, the following started complaining about lack of permissions: create tempfile in /tmp fill up tempfile with stuff move tempfile to destination (same filesystem, matching uids) - permission denied. Using strace, I see that it is a call to rename() that fails. Then I tried this instead: create tempfile in /tmp fill up tempfile with stuff copy tempfile to destination (same filesystem) remove tempfile Works fine. EOL page https://en.opensuse.org/Lifetime#openSUSE_Leap_and_13.x That states: EXPECTED First Quarter of 2017 (2 months after release of Leap 42.2) for 132 but for 13.1 with evergreen says: extended community maintenance, support end is currently November 2016.That is: up to the first quarter of 2017 you will get offical security updates for 13.2.
