[opensuse] Dolphin extremely slow

On one of my PCs, Athlon64 with openSUSE 11.2 and KDE, dolphin is extremely slow when I try to navigate into the filesystem. I use a different partition for my home folder, but I have changed several versions of openSUSE (from 10.3). So I am assuming that some of the older files created by KDE are now the problem. [opensuse] dhcppc0, how to change

As my hostname I get the letter combination dhcppc0. Do not know where this name comes from and where and how to change it in Yast or with a console.. Could somebody help me out. [opensuse] Loading 64-bit Guest in VirtualBox

I have v3.0.6_OSEr52128 which YaST Software Manager shows to be x86_64 but when I try to load Windows 7 64 Bit it fails saying the CPU is not 64-bit. My host OS is OSE 11.2 fully patched. Kernel: 2.6.31.12-0.2-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT 2010-03-16 21:25:39 +0100 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux What am I missing here? Are you using the x11vnc '-allinput' option? It appears there was some debugging code for that feature inadvertently left in that release. So you could stop using that option or use x11vnc 0.9.9 or later where the debugging code has been removed. Do you find that '-allinput' makes an improvement? A switch back is not a question now as I can temporary handle my email with Crawl. Worked on the Akonadi server and saved the output of akonadictl start in a file which I attach. [opensuse] XEN is being weird

I've installed Xen and I'm trying to define a virtual machine but for some reason the RAM assignments seem all screwed up. The minimum is defaulting to 11M (and won't let me change it) and the max to 142M. The host system has 2G of physical memory and 4G or swap. What am I doing wrong?
