Hi, Could somebody explain me if Suse 11 with Firefox is safer/how much safer than Microsoft Windows XP with Firefox as a browser. Kann mir jemand erklaeren wieweit Suse mit Firefox sicherer ist zu Microsoft XP mit Firefox als Browser. I have to decide if I choose Suse 11 with Firefox or Windows XP with Firefox for the next computer. Ich muss entscheiden ob ich Suse nehmen soll bei der naechsten Installation. Am I with Suse 11 safer in using e.g. internet banking regularly concerning viruses, ...? Bin ich mit Suse und Firefox wirklich sicherer was zB Internetbanking... angeht vor Viren, Trojanern.... oder ist die Sicherheit nicht allzu unterschiedlich? How is it with Opera and Suse 11 in comparison with Firefox 3 and Suse 11 Wie weit steht es mit Suse und Opera im Vergleich zu Suse mit Firefox? openSUSE 11 - I'm getting a 2 second long, extremely loud beep when I hit ctrl-alt-backspace. Is there any way I can prevent the beep? [opensuse] 11.0 is still using outdated versions of libdvdnav and libdvdread

Hi, I just noticed that you are still including very old and unmaintained versions of libdvdnav and libdvdread. A fork of both is available here: http://svn.mplayerhq.hu/dvdnav/trunk/ with a considerable amount of fixes, improvements and cleanups. Additionally now libdvdnav doesn't include anymore libdvdread. [opensuse] Opensuse 32 vs 64 bit installation.

I currently have a Lenovo thinkpad T61p which is a very nice machine, but I'm running it in 32 bit mode because I need to compile and run a number of 32 bit applications. They cannot compile in 64 bit mode so when I upgrade to OpenSuse 11 I'll still have to be 32 bit.... unless there is a way to run the compiler's in 32 bit compatibility mode. Listmates, I pondered a question tonight while building and installing the 8.501 driver released earlier today. Are there no ATI drivers for 11.0 yet?
