I think it is better for ATI Radeon users to change the default driver so that they have 3d acceleration right out of the box. For example I have Radeon 9550 and I don`t have 3d acceleration before I install fglrx. [opensuse] Problems with src repositories

Hello I am using SUSE 10.2. I am unable to view the source repositories from Yast Software Management application. I have tried the primary repositories opensuse.org and the mirror.colorado.edu. [opensuse] only a very small nuisance

On my Laptop which runs 10.0 I found that instead of name of my net (constant.net) the word reached shows up. Same in my Gkrellm header. Looked all over the setup but do not seem to find the place to correct this unimportant fact. As you all know the presence of the clamav module always loaded provides NO real-time protection for ANY file types. To utilise it was have been using clamscan with options to detect Virus potabilities. Clamscan needs to be executed from xterm and its a good idea to run freshclam before performing a scan. There is a new GUI interface called KlamAV. The GUI interface permits real-time virus reports without having to run a scan. It also permits scheduled scans and options interrogated compressed files. There is an issue still in the distributed version of KlamAV if you want to use this you will need to load a module 'modprobe dazuko.o' which I cannot locate from the distro rendering the real-time agent useless. To its credit the interface is well written, however there is no help documents available in the distro - many options are obtuse and misleading. Email clients such as Evolution and kmail are protected in a real time basis. There is no plug in for thunderbird or anything else. There are ambiguities between clamAV and KlamAV, the latter I think is the real time agent and you will need further modules to scan samba traffic on a real time basis. The GUI interface is so slow you start in the morning and have a very long lunch and it might be finished. You will also find a list of suspected files as they are oversized .zip files which it determines as a virus. There is no way to clean an infected file - you either delete it or quarantine it - you cannot repair it.. My advise, if you can get the real time module working - use it, however if you want to scan you HDD I strongly suggest a clamscan from xterm. The application is still in beta. If anyone knows of a real-time agent and a qquick scan for those very odd Linux Virus, that is NOT beta and works well - please let me know in private. Once again - due to the nature of our work, a specific Taylor Made Linux virus has been sent to me (10 files infected so far) and I am in the process of submitting them I could write a page of strange and bizarre hhappenings, but that would take the cake. [opensuse] ocfs2 package updates?

The Factory version of the ocfs2 package I just downloaded still contains buggy 1.2.2 code. I suspect that the repository used for SLES 10 SP1 has a newer version, as the network timeout knobs were added, but I'm really not intentionally installing SLES ever again. [opensuse] Resized Partition Issue

Hi all! Hope anyone can help me with this, I use openSUSE 10.2 and had a partiton used to store my stuff (movies, pictures and multimedia in general), at the beginning it had 68GB size, after resizing it has 100GB but when I click on My Computer (using KDE) it appears as a 100 GB Media but it's total size still appears as 68GB. [opensuse] Have postfix limit email from 192.168.0.0/16 to 192.168.0.0/16 from Nat to Nat other IP's to any where.

Hello, Is there a way to have postfix limit sending email to only Natted IP's whill allowing all other to email any other system. I need to have any email from a 192.168.0.0/16 IP to only be able to send email to another 192.168.0.0/16 IP. Any ideas?
