Squirrelmail broken after automatic update

Acrobat 7 and recent Gnome/Gtk/KDE, and who knows???

I've been having a problem with Adobe acroread 7.0, which I believe is related to recent Gnome and or KDE updates from the unsupported directories. I'm not sure how screwed up things are at this point. I have the stuff from www.go-mono.org rug, and the bits from the SuSE ftp site for Gnome and KDE supplementary. When I start acroread normally (F2, or from an xterm) it launched behind the current window and the menu and toolbars look like this http://baldur.globalsymmetry.com/open-source/org/kde/acroread-broken-normal… If I click a menu item "File", "Edit", etc., acroread crashes, and this message appears in the xterm: "(acroread:326): Gdk-WARNING **: Using Cairo rendering requires the drawable argument to have a specified colormap. Dual boot with beta1.

Has anyone got a beta1 loaded on a dual boot machine (windowsXP and SuSE beta1)? I've tried it and it will not boot (or reboot) into windows. In order to use windows, I boot up with a windows98 bootable floppy and then do an fdisk /mbr. This allows me to boot into windows but when I want to return to linux, I have to put the CD in and repair the boot loader, writing it in the master boot record. The default setting is to write it in the /dev/hdb1 partition but this does not work. My computer has two hard disks /dev/hda which has windows XP and /dev/hdb which contains SuSE. I'm wondering if this problem is peculiar to my machine and set up or has anyone else noticed this problem? Should I submit a bug report? Thanks Eddie

Postfix + Exchange braindamage

Hi guys, I am in charge of a postfix box which acts as a antivirus/antispam relay and smarthost for an exchange 2000 server sitting behind it. For some reason exchange is having trouble sending through it, and I just want to be sure that the problem is not on my side. Here's what my logs say. The Sun Java dependency is optional now. * XEN3 support got added * Gnome was updated to 2.12 beta 2 * Hotplug did change heavily. Please test it way more heavily. * KDE received work on multimedia system and the media handling Please report all problems in bugzilla.novell.com. Delta ISOs ========== Delta ISOs allow to download a small file instead of downloading the complete ISO if you have the previous ISO. Just do: $ applydeltaiso old delta new applydeltaiso is avaible via the deltarpm package. For example: $ applydeltaiso SUSE-10.0-CD-OSS-i386-Beta1-CD1.iso \ SUSE-10.0-CD-OSS-i386-Beta1_Beta2-CD1.delta.iso \ SUSE-10.0-CD-OSS-i386-Beta2-CD1.iso And check the MD5SUMS afterwards. Problem with parted or grub

Hello, I tried yesterday to install OpenSuSE10-Beta on my box. First I found a problem with parted. This program was not able to read the partition-table of my pc. I am not able to put a new partition on hdb. I had to do this with Yast/parted from 9.3 (on the same box). Later - after the first installation of 10.0 on the box - there are problems with grub (from 10.0). I am not able to start 9.3 again and run into a kernel-panic short after the start (root-partition of 9.3). I tried to fix this problem with the repair-modus of 9.3. But there was no change. I run again in this trouble. Only a full update of 9.3 with installing grub of this distri fixed the problem. I think, OpenSuSE had made some changes on the root-partition of 9.3 or there are a problem with grub (10.0).
