Converting .ts file to MPEG (coming from Dreambox)

Hi guys, Does somebody of you know a linux-application that can convert .ts -files (coming from HDTV in Dreambox) to MPEG ? I couldn't find any. panasonic digital camcorder

I tried to help out my son, who just got a new digital Panasonic camcorder. He can use the USB mode to transfer still pictures ( as I was also, with SUSE) but we could not get the streaming video to save as a file. keeping logs with iptables

I have been trying to setup up the SuSEfirewall with iptables so it will log every connection and every attempted connection to my box and have been unable to. Either the SuSEfirewall will not start becuase of bad syntax or it doesn't log everything. I Googled for about an hour last night loooking for a way to log it and have read over the man of iptables. Hi All This amaroK player is so nice. I installed a script on amaroK to display the Cover on my desktop. amaroK crash as i was doing to many things at once and that cover just sit on my desktop as black even when i rebbot. How can i close it. Regards Gerald

how to cancel a print job with Samba

I have a printer connected via SMB protocol and I would like to cancel a running print job. Looking at the KJobViewer of KDE it's not possible to see remotely running jobs, at least I have never seen. How can I do it then. Maybe in command line via smbclient? I would appreciate any help on this. Thanks Herbert

Hi I have installed w32codecs to /usr/lib/win32 and none of my apps can play wma files anyone knows the answer please. I have tried xine, xmms, armaroK. Regards Gerald
