Attached are 4 rpm that I built on my 9.3 system:
Clark
I've installed those four packages, but I'm still getting:
"checking for libglademm-2.4 gtkmm-2.4 gthread-2.0 libxml-2.0... Package gtkmm-2.4 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtkmm-2.4.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable Package 'gtkmm-2.4', required by 'libglademm', not found
configure: error: Library requirements (libglademm-2.4 gtkmm-2.4 gthread-2.0 libxml-2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them."
Also, rpm -qa doesn't show the gtkmm-2.4 package.
All on the DVD, not looked at the CD's. gtkmm-1.2.10-302.i586.rpm gtkmm24-2.4.11-3.i586.rpm gtkmm2-devel-2.2.12-6.i586.rpm gtkmm2-2.2.12-6.i586.rpm gtkmm24-devel-2.4.11-3.i586.rpm gtkmm-devel-1.2.10-302.i586.rpm It's asking for gtkmm-2.4, not gtkmm-1.2, which is on the DVD and is installed on my system.
Check the DVD for gtkmm-24 (2.4.11-3). Need the devel package aswell.
Now it needs sigc++-2.0. A search with Yast fails to find that. Gee... this is "fun".

Libsig++ is on the DVD also.

The required package is ligsigc++-devel , also needs pango-devel. Now it's looking for gdk-2.0. The closest I can find on the DVD are gdk-pixbub-devel and libgtkhtml-devel, which are not what it's looking for.

Turns out, that's gtk2-devel. Now it wants libglade-2.0, which is, in fact, libglade2-devel. Finally, I can build that package. That's what I love about Linux. Everything is so simple. ;-) It would have been nice, if whoever created the README had mentioned some of the requirements. Now that configure runs OK, what's next??? There's an install-sh command, but it wants some input file. What file?

It would have been if you just had installed pin.

My crystall ball again. What's the error message? Isn't there an INSTALL file? Regards, -- Jos van Kan www.josvankan.tk

There wasn't an error message. Just a query for an input file. And no, there's no INSTALL file. However, Clark has provided the necessary info.
