That is > the address you can send from. When I first signed up everything was fine, then Verizon started filtering all EU-based lists, then they have slowly started to allow specific lists to pass. I contacted Verizon and I thought they had fixed things so that the Suse list was added to the pass list but just noticed (see below) that I am getting the messages via a forwarding address. Sigh. I have no problems with posting to any other list (and I am on multiple lists re. computers, ministry, amateur radio, etc), so there is no setting problem here. I also have things set to defaul to text and not html. Greetings, Has anyone here successfully setup a dial in to the internet server in Suse 9.X (ie windowze box dials in and connects to internet) What steps should I follow? I can't find any decent readmes or HOW-TOs. Please note I am new to networking and don't have the picture of how this works. So far: I have mgetty configured with AUTOppp, on connection the line is dropped, from a terminal I can log in, but only see pppd starting. But it wont give me a valid IP. Hello! I sended you a BCC from a other mail with the same problem that i answered - to give you more background details about this problem. I checked the boot.ini and it seams that you have 100 % right. I thought that grub "override" OS Settings and bring it up booting correctly. With fdisk on linux i checked the partition table. It is this one here ... IEEE 1394 support in SuSE 9.3

Hi all, Does anyone know if IEEE1394 is supported in 9.3? I tried the Live DVD yesterday and was pleased to see most of my harware detected. The piece of harware that worries me the most is an external DVD burner (Plextor PX712-UF); the firewire connection went unoticed.. is this normal?

I got a other mail from a list user and i think he has right that there isnt any grub problem - windows boot.ini seams to be "wrong" because i transfered the system. It may be different for your controller. For me it works, and it sends emails with the status, and if something goes wrong (i.e. some HDD in the container fails, and needs replacement). mail migrations

I have a mailserver on windows running Mdaemon as the mail server. Users access their mails thru imap & not pop, hence the migration is a issue, as the mails reside on the server only. We have deployed a new mail server running SLES 9 with postfix as mail server & Cyrus imap.We need to find out a soln. where we can migrate the mails from mdaemon to Linux directly. xine-lib version 1.0 RPM

Hi all, I'd like to upgrade my version of xine-lib to 1.0. Now, I'm currently running the 0.99rc6 RPM version, and I managed to find what looks to be the 1.0 RPM [1]. However, when I install this (using command-line rpm as Yast is broken at the moment), it only dumps a load of diffs into /usr/src/packages/SOURCES. Adding sources to YaST

Is there a list of sources/repos that can be added to YaST for 9.3? There are a number of packages I'd like to add/update, so putting the repos in YaST seems like the easiest way. I've tried to download .rpm files and then choose "Install with YaST" but the DVD versions keep getting installed instead (gaim is a good example here). I thought someone had earlier posted a site (possibly Novell's) listing these repos, but of course now I can't find it. Thanks.
