DHCP is already running on eth0?

Decided to reload Suse 9.2 on my IBM and when it tried to test the Internet connection it failed with the message "DHCP is already running on eth0" The setup is a nic to a Motorola wired & wireless router to a DSL modem. Firefox and KMail Script

I have been using KMail and Firefox. Firefox is set as the default browser in KDE. KMail *was* set up as the default email client using gnome-control-center. Mailto links would start the KMail composer without the recipient or subject information. The send link option in Firefox would again start the composer without the information. I changed the email client in gnome-control-center to point to the following script. This seems to work but also seems like more than should be needed. Is there a simpler way to get these two programs to play nice with each other? I'm using 9.1 with KDE 3.4. Suse boot question

Hi there, Im running a suse fileserver with about 10 harddisks installed, and am running it monitorless and kboard/mouse'less. Im not protected by any type of UPS, although I am thinking of installing one soon. My question is this; When we have a power outage, obviously the server just turns off immediately. On power restoration, it automatically boots up. But when suse is running the boot sequence, it notes that one or more volumes have not been cleanly unmounted (obviously) and that it needs to check. Occasionally during this it fails for a unknown reason and dumps me to run a manual fsck. This is more than annoying as the server is located in a locked storage space, and plugging up a monitor and keyboard/mouse is more than a inconvenience. So basically is there any way of disabling this check on boot, and just writing an error message in a system log? Or even just disable it? It must be possible as another Distro (mandrake springs to mind) has a different approach to this kind of situation in that it prompts you to press a key to run the checks if it sees that volumes have been uncleanly mounted. Greets; On a new install of SuSE 9.2 ftp version and then updating to latest KDE release from ftp.kde.org ran across a new error not seen in the past with the same combination and rev levels or representative apps: OpenOffice.org (suse-novell version) now segfaults when file>open from the main OOo dialogue. for the first time since doing the latest kernel (YOU) update, I tried to open an existing document in OpenOffice word processor.
