Problem with Korean fonts in Mozilla 1.4-2

I am unable to display hangul (korean letters) in Mozilla 1.4 inspite of downloading and installing Hangul TrueType Fonts (they are in my font path). Looking at: http://kr.yahoo.com/ Ddsplays the title bar in Hangul and I have loaded character codings in Mozilla for: Korean (EUC-KR) Korean (ISO-2022-KR) Korean (UHC) Korean (JOHAB) But I just get funky boxes. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong or what font's I am missing and where to get them? Thanks. -- I am unique and special, just like everyone else.

Look on ebay. There are ppl selling dvd-r and cd-r copies of it, sans support and manuals, of course. I think you might want to offer to pay for more than just the shipping, btw. printing from evolution

Just wondering if anyone else on this list is having the same problem as me. I am using KDE for my desktop and evolution for my email client. When I go to print the page size selection is always set to A4, not used here in the states. Also I cannot get my cups printers to show up. restoring old crons

Is there any way to recover old crontabs from a previous installation that I have fully backed up? I can't find the relevant files, and it would be easier copying an old file across than trying to recreate all the entries! Specifically, I'd like root's crontab back. Two days ago we had this problem and having discussed it with my line manager, he managed to track down and resolve the problem. I am posting it on the list for those who might be interested or have this problem themselves. What happened. I was logged in to the system as root and started galeon. Thinking this was a bad idea, I cancelled the configuration window. However, galeon started up quite happily and I continue to use it as root. All subsequent galeon sessions opened up multiple instances and didn't stop unless it was killed off manually. Discovery and fix. What we discovered was that when logged in as root, two files were created: /opt/mozilla/components/compreg.dat /opt/mozilla/components/xpti.dat After removing these files galeon behaved normally when run as non-root user. Under non-root use these files do not get generated. Hope this helps. Eddie

USB printer in SuSE 8.2

I have an Epson C40UX colour printer, which YaST detected and set up properly using CUPS. However, when I came to print to it today, it decided that it was a different printer, so I had to set it up all over again, so I now have duplicate queues for it. Originally, it was listed in YaST as "Epson Stylus C40" and was set up as a "USB printer on //EPSON/Stylus%20C40?serial=L5302011019210", whereas today's instance is "Epson Unknown", and is set up as a "USB printer on /dev/usb/lp1". In each case, I ended up using the same drivers and queue options. Is this normal, and how can I get SuSE 8.2 to recognise the printer consistently? Anyone using an Abit KR7A-RAID???

I'm trying to get a RAID 1 (mirroring) setup and when my regular bios starts up, my drives are detected, but when I get into my Raid setup, NO drives are detected. I setup the bios to ATA133-RAID, but still nothing. Has anyone else got this to work? Here's what I've got: IDE1 Maxtor Drive - Creative CD IDE2 Western Dig - Sony CD-RW IDE3 Western Dig - just got it. Any thoughts would be great!
