Hi matthew, Yabber ?!?!? :-)) I picked up the book you mentioned - "Running Linux" 3rd edition from O'Reilly - it was the only book consistently recommended by a bunch of people. [SLE] Bandwidth Throdling

Hello, I have a 200kbps SDSL Connection(I want to get the bosses to get more, but that's later). When I first walked into this job, I knew this oe person would be trouble(as far as a bandwith hog). He's been downloading movies and mp3 and other stuff. I don't really care what he downloads, as long as it doesn't effect the others at work(primarily the bosses). All the user computers have nonroutable IP's, and I'm building a linux router(LRP) right now to take the place of an NT machine. I'd like to make it so that if two people are downloading, each get half the bandwidth, and it three, then a third, and so on(or just route it all the me :D ). [SLE] Router installation

Hello, guys! Please, guide me of how to setup router. I need my network`s W98 computers see Internet thru my server (SuSE Linux 6.2). I.e., I need my Server work as a gateway. On the way to internet another gateway is placed. The current situation is: - from inside Linux Server is able to access both local and external network - W98 workstations are able to access Server only (even ping does not work for other IP) - naming is configured via SAMBA-WINS I have tried all the documentation, but I don`t know, what is wrong. [SLE] Simple Pine Question

I have selected the option for URL's to be selected for viewing and I have put in the full path name of netscape to use as the viewer. OK, I hit enter once the URL is highlighted and am asked if I want to view the URL. I answer yes and netscape starts. However, it doesn't go to the URL. It just comes up and sits there. Was I supposed to have added some paramter after the full path to netscape??? Right now I just have /opt/netscape/netscape. [SLE] sblive platinum question

YEAH! got my sblive plat. workin but now a few days later it acts funny. I currently use the front drive tray 2 hook up to my cambridge soundworks 5.1 speakers (very nice i must say) since the front/rear cable is to short. The problem is that i don't get sound out of the speakers any more. It had worked the first couple days but after a few reboots it stopped working. Now, I can always get sound out of the sblive plugs on the card in back (using headphones currently). I also can't hook up headphones to the trays headphone jack (next to the SPDIF out).
