[SLE] How do I upgrade to XFree86 3.3.6?

What files do I need from the ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/SuSE-Linux/suse_update/XFree86-3.3.6-SuSE/SuSE-6.3/ directory on suse's ftp site to upgrade to xfree86 3.3.6, I don't want to download them all, as i'm on a pitiful 28.8, no broadband access period in my area :( Also, has anyone else attempted to use a Savage 2000 with XFree86 3.3.6, supposedly it supports it, (that's why i'm trying to upgrade to 3.3.6, since I can't run x-windows currently)... Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. [SLE] Webalizer is Y2K victim - update RPM from SuSE?

The version of webalizer that comes on SuSE 6.2 (webalizer v.1.22) has a Y2K bug that makes it impossible to view records for the year 2000+. Any chance of an update rpm from SuSE? I'm given to understand there is a new version available from source. Also, I haven't checked if the version on 6.3 is OK (not yet using 6.3 on a server). yes, I'm back - in my new job - with 6.3 on my desktop. :-) Struggling with Oracle. [SLE] Can't download emails???

Hello, I just did a fresh reinstall on my Winbook XL laptop after messing up my system. Now I can't download emails. I can connect. I can ping. I can browse the net. I can send. My pop settings are fine. I put in pop settings for another account I have for a different server, and I downloaded fine. My service provider says my account is fine. I don't know what to do, since I'm not getting errors to diagnose. Just the message "No new emails". I've successfully connected using kppp and wvdial. I've tried downloading emails with kmail and Netscape. According to both, I have no new emails. This is my var/log/messages . Something about broken pipe. But I don't think this has to do with my ppp since, I just now connected again and watched with tail -f /var/log/messages , checked email in kmail. Sent email. And did not get this broken pipe thing. Please i need some help with netscape, i got ppp running under kde ppp, netscape comes up with Netscape is unable to locate the server home netscape.com please check the server name and try again. Ok, folks, I am hoping someone in here knows a bit about fetchmail. I have compiled the 5.2.0 code and am trying to run the fetchmailconf program for the first time. I don't have access to any off line docs today. I'm trying to write a simple bash shell script to apply dos2unix to each .html file in a directory. I've almost got it (I think) if I can figure out how to test a filename for a .html suffix. Can anyone enlighten me? TIA -- Kenneth R. [SLE] Installation headache: No services

I'm having problems installing Oracle: Basically (apart from the installer being an utter resource hog and only working on one JRE), the problem is that when it gets to the Oracle Protocol Support screen in the installer, there are *no* protocols from which I can select. If I continue, Oracle finishes installing, but isn't very useful as nothing can connect to it as the listener is supporting no services. So please - how is it that the installer detects services - because it's clearly not and there might be something I can do about it on my distribution. (It is, by the way a fairly virgin SuSE 6.3 installation, and the SuSE Oracle patches have been applied.
