Hello all, I´m using 12.1 RC1 and I tried to open sysinfo:/ in Konqueror. It doesn´t work, the "service" couldn´t started. [opensuse-factory] [TumbleWeed] libimobiledevice: Lock Down Error (-4) with iOS 5 devices

Problem happens with current libmobiledevice from TumbleWeed. As a result, ipheth doesn't work anymore. Same is true for direct access of iPhone folders. [opensuse-factory] Was kexec removed from the 12.1 installer?

Hello all, I noticed during the installation process. Between the first and second half of it, the 12.1 installer did not use kexec for reboot. We had to wait for a manual reboot of the DVD 64-bit. [opensuse-factory] How to Install GNOME3 Desktop and Removing KDE4 (or Vice Versa) Safely

Hi all, I was accidentally removing alsa-plugins-pulse package when removing KDE4 packages (on kde4 and kde_basis patterns) in case to install GNOME 3.2 desktop (install them from gnome and gnome_basis patterns) on 'yast sw_single'. Finding that my openSUSE 12.1 RC1 was no sound when running 'speaker-test' so I filled bug[0] yesterday. I just wondering about $Subject in one single process, remove KDE4 and install GNOME3 (or vice versa) in the same time, so user will have a good move to doing it. Thanks in advance. [opensuse-factory] Installation media identification

It just so happens that I have been installing a lot lately :) I've been using mainly netinstall CD:s. I've been testing to install numerous pre release versions of 12.1 and also earlier ones to test upgrading, from 11.4 to Tumbleweed, from 11.4 to rc1, from 11.3 to rc1 and stuff. So I'm all surrounded by CD:s with and without markings, some previously marked and with later changed contents... [opensuse-factory] dhcp: nameserver not being set in /etc/resolv.conf ?

I'm not totally certain, but I don't remember having disabled this. I'm installing Factory on a couple of systems and although /etc/resolv.conf is created, 'nameserver' is not set. [opensuse-factory] 12.1 rc1, LXDE: Moving LXPanel to the upper screen edge results in no pull down menu

Hello all, if I place LXPanel to the upper screen edge in LXDE, OS 12.1 rc1 and click an geeko the pull down menu is empty with a white background. The menu reappears - it slides down - if I press the down arrow on the keyboard but it covers the geeko symbol. If I place LXPanel back to the lower screen edge it works normally. Is this already known and if not should I file a bug report?
