[opensuse-factory] Should there be sound over HDMI?

Hi! I connected a TV set to an HDMI connector on my sound card. I read in the Ubuntu FAQ that it the system cannot detect HDMI device, it means you have incorrectly built kernel or alsa. [opensuse-factory] watch out for udev problems in tumbleweed

Right now tumbleweed will want to downgrade your version of udev, but not your version of libudev. Hi, There are some things we need to get done before we can call Milestone 6 Beta: - kpat is 4.7.0 - 11.4 artwork needs to go. Unless of course the artwork says this will stay for the final. - systemd still has several issues on the live cd and first boot after installation - there are still 22 build failures in openSUSE:Factory:Staging:DtNeeded, we'll revert the patch in binutils I guess. - we have no kernel-xen - several kmps do not build: ndiswrapper, omnibook, vmpware-guest, xen, xtables-addons This is just what came to my mind, I bet there is more if you start looking into bugzilla. [opensuse-factory] Different outlook of GTK2 and GTK3 applications

Hi! It seems that in addition to different look of GTK, Qt3, Qt4 applications, in Factory we will face different look of GTK2 and GTK3 apps. Looks like some applications (like Yast and Gnome) are build with GTK3, while others (thunar, xfce) are built with GTK2 which makes them look inconsistently in mixed environment. Some utilities such as nvidia-settings ate GTK2-only. Hey Group; I suspect a problem that is /usr/include/include exists. It came off the disk as include/asm asm-generic drm linux mtd rdma scsi sound video xen.
