I think it´s systemd, I installed Beta1 first and upgraded to RC1 today, so it should be systemd. I maybe have to say, that the problem wasn´t there with Beta 1 and also not with an earlier installation of M6.

Here it works with sysvinit.

kio_sysinfo can´t be loaded. This seems to be the point. I will try to reinstall this and try it again.

I'm a little late responding, but it works for me on an upgrade from b1 on an acer 5520 lap x86_64. Go with systemd if it is a fresh install. With an upgrade I strongly suggest to check with the user back.

Personally agree with Lars and reforce that upgrading should not in any case broke a working system. Don't like to speak as the "green grass of neighbour is more green than mine", but so far Ubuntu's upgrades from older to newer releases always gone perfectly. Use a civil tone when disagreeing/criticizing and you will not find me "blindly antagonistic". I did only updates on my machine... and that for a very long time... and I had no serious issues... occasionally messed packages but mainly due to my fault of having many additional packages... systemd worked like a charm... and I updated to at the beginnings. I advise you to state the problem and report a bug, drop in the irc opensuse- factory and speak with fcrozat about. if the users would have had to vote for adopting a new technology... today we will still room around a cave...
