Because, Patrick, if you have ever done a 'zypper up' then you may get a message stating that some running files have been updated and you may want to restart them.
And the quickest way is to reboot.
I just kill the subject apps and restart them. It's not necessary to restart except for kernel updates and a few other instances. And it is possible to do kernel updates w/o rebooting.
You are just making noise and I am facilitating it but will no longer!
Yes, you are (making noise). And I don't understand why you are so blindly antagonistic to anything you perceive as expressing some criticism of openSUSE.
Criticism of openSUSE is well and good but describing the programming efforts of contributors donating their time and work as "crap" is derogatory and abusive; not warranted or necessary. Something you also do at times. Just becasue an individual dislikes a feature or application does not make it "crap". Use a civil tone when disagreeing/criticizing and you will not find me "blindly antagonistic". If one cannot then using the delete key would be an option, as you have previously advised me :^) I guess if one has a xxitty outlook, then one must see a lot of "crap". -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
