[oS-en] Finding duplicates in email

I have a thunderbird extension to find duplicates. "Remove Duplicate Messages" by Eyal Rozenberg. https://github.com/eyalroz/removedupes/ But it claims there are no duplicates. I have read the FAQ. Subsequently, I saved to file a message and its duplicate, to do a compare, and yes, there is a difference: X-Spam-Status: No, score=-3.4 required=5.0 tests=BAYES_00, HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS,MAILING_LIST_MULTI,NICE_REPLY_A, RCVD_IN_DNSWL_MED,RCVD_IN_ZEN_BLOCKED_OPENDNS,RDNS_NONE,SPF_HELO_NONE, SPF_PASS autolearn=disabled version=3.4.5 X-Spam-Status: No, score=-4.1 required=5.0 tests=BAYES_00, HEADER_FROM_DIFFERENT_DOMAINS,MAILING_LIST_MULTI,NICE_REPLY_A, RDNS_NONE,SPF_HELO_NONE,SPF_PASS,T_SCC_BODY_TEXT_LINE autolearn=disabled version=3.4.5 The reason of that difference, is that each copy comes from a different run of my sorting script, the spam filter "thought differently". (note to myself: disable spam filtering in that script) Do you know some other tool to find and remove duplicates from a mail folder, where I can tell it to ignore some header? ("Delete" means moving to trash folder) Or maybe remove the spam header. While chasing and IMAP issue used yast to install isync however the program does not seem to be there. find / -name isync . . . /usr/share/doc/packages/isync /usr/share/licenses/isync is all that is found. joe a

packaged version of postfix

Using a openSuse 15.4 packaged version of postfix and dovecot. Having authentication issues following the cookbook steps provide by dovecot and postfix docs. I find, checking for the "as compiled" authentication methods: ~ # postconf -a cyrus dovecot ~ # postconf -A cyrus Which tells me, I think, that attempting to use lmpt for communication between dovecot and postfix (on same box) are doomed. Have I a clue?

Copy and Paste does not work while installing programs

Hello all! I have four machines here, all with openSUSE Leap 15.4. With three of them there are no particular problems, but with the one I am using now there is a consistent, reproducible error: When I am installing a number of programs, I normally copy my password when installing the first in the row. Then, it is easy to paste in the same password for each successive installation. However, with this machine that is impossible. I copy the password, but after I have exited the dialog box the copied password is erased from memory and I have to type the password each time when doing the subsequent installations. Further; as long as I have the dialog box open the password copied is kept in memory and can be pasted into a document I made to test this, but when I close the dialog box in order to go to Yast2 the password is evidently erased since it then cannot be pasted into the document. It is gone, but on my other machines it is kept in memory and can be pasted into the dialog box. See the picture in the link below; that is where it happens. Hi, I'm about installing a fresh Leap 15.5. For Leap 15.4 and Tumbleweed my processor needed disabling zenstate c6, and someone provided a python script which did just that. Something killed Firefox & Thunderbird OpenSUSE 15.4 & KDE

Both Firefox & Thunderbird stopped working thing morning. I was using both all morning, but neither work now. I noticed there were 2 updates just before this happened. This affects both my desktop and notebook computers. Rebooting does not help. sddm 2.0 and dropped MinimumVT option

Hi *, with sddm 2.0 the MinimumVT option has been dropped, causing sddm to use the lowest available vt to run X. Is there anything one can do to get back that behaviour besides compiling sddm? TIA. Bye. Michael.
