problem with a new install Tumbleweed and starting a new KVM connection

KVM installed and qemu (via packages). Libvirt is there, the virtual machine manager tries to start the connection, but ...fails. The machines are stored on a separate disk mounted as /var/lib/ libvirt. I am puzzled, why does the connection not start? User is member of: entropy@localhost:~> groups entropy kvm qemu libvirt I am not seeing why it should have any problem, something I am missing. 15.5 kde lock screen desgin - looks like glitch in the matrix or video mem errors?

Users, was briefly startled when 15.5 booted up after the upgrade on some 15.4 kde machine, first i had thought the reboot of the bare metal has had left some graphics memory in a deranged state or something. those lines, and blurred, from the background of new 15.5 kde, look odd to me, when being seen blurry or in the clear on the logon screen or when you enter your password there. later i figured that ought to be the new 15.5 kde desktop background picture design or something. those horizontal lines, always feel odd when they come into view, show desktop et al ty.

Tablet mode with kde, tumbleweed, yoga 530

Hello, I have a Lenovo yoga 530, bough second hand some month ago and around 3 years old. I run on it tumbleweed with no real problem. However, when going out of hibernation, It comes in tablet mode and I don’t know how to go out of it. I have to kill the session (ctl Alt and two backspaces) I almost never use tablet mode. All hits from google don’t give me hints. I didn’t find any “tabletpc” thing from YaST. Any doc about openSUSE Tablet mode on Kde (updated one hour ago) by the way, tablet mode shows as there is no more any multi-windows,only one app at a time and no way I find to close the application. thanks jdd -- c'est quoi, usenet? http://www.dodin.org/wiki/pmwiki.php?n=Usenet.Usenet

alternative for yast2-online-update-configuration

I am running tumbleweed on proot-distro.[ 1 ] Primary reason about installing delta updates. To my surprise, i cant use yast2 on proot, it complains about missing /sys link.[ 2 ] Is there alternative method to install delta rpms for all packages? Have you checked the powersupply? I had minis with a broken ps, that would boot on a "I had this one lying in a drawer" 12v 2A ps, but as soon as the os (was win10) would begin its work after login, it would reboot. This was a celeron or so, not that powerhungry. You need enough power. problems with keyboard input with TW SSDM: wrong layout

I have set my keyboard Italian default, I have set root key board (plasma) Italian default. I actually have all keyboards Italian default. Still when I input the password in ssdm it is "English US layout". I do not understand why. Any clue to help me back to normality? Where can I set this value? Thank you in advance. P.s. once inside the Plasma session all is OK.

What happened to Haskell repository for Leap 15.4?

I used to get recent versions of Pandoc from the repository http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/haskell/openSUS… However, this ceased to exist from one day to another a few months ago. What's the reason for this (and in general, where can I find announcements or discussions for such actions)? And what is a proper substitute for it? Any advice is highly appreciated. Werner
