While booting long (data) disk activity has login on hold, doesn't seem normal. /var/log/boot/msg has this line: <7>[5.436417] systemd-journald[583]: Received client request to flush runtime journal. journalctl -b --unit systemd-journald gives: https://paste.opensuse.org/pastes/4e6c49a90057 The (data) disk is a new WD blue 2TB formatted GPT single partition formatted ext2 by mistake instead of ext4.

Machine doesn't react to ping, nor keyboard. I have to press and hold the power button for 4 seconds, then press for power up and fresh full boot. Ideas? I don't have log for previous boot, journal was not persistent. Changing that :-( Behaviour for sleep has changed. Now to wake up from suspend to ram I have to press the power on button, the keyboard is ignored. Oh, at some moment the Caps Lock led became permanently "on" now. Maybe "init 1" did that? All, Saw a question on StackOverflow about tmux only running the first time it is called. Attempting to run again fails with the error "/run/tmux/1000 (No such file or directory)" https://stackoverflow.com/q/75997451/3422102 The rub is this is a Tumbleweed install on WSL from the MS store. I suggested this list for specific help -- but that got me thinking -- is there some other list (that humans actually read) that is more appropriate for issue with WSL installs? -- David C. Problem with TW update complaining about Jupiter Notebook client required

Reverse a zypper dup 20230401

HI Seems that a release number of 20230401 was released last night (UK time) which is after the 2230405. Is it possible to reverse a zypper dup? I can only find advice on reversing an install via BTRSP or using Snapper which i don't use. The issue is that my screen is configured at 1920x1080 and i now just get 25% of that screen (top left hand corner) but I can reconfigure to 1024x768 to ge a full screen again in order to work. go from sata to nvme

Hello, I just cloned a sata ssd to a nvme disk of same size on an other computer. Windows boots, but openSUSE don't (I have Tumbleweed and 15.3 on this disk). I get to the grub menu but stop soon after What could be the simpler way to fix this? try from grub console or recovery disk? susepaste command no longer respects syntax and does not show in Recents when logged in

All, admin(a)o.o, Woes continue with the updated paste.opensuse.org. Many many times I simply use the susepaste command line to post C files to share. Before the new updates to the site, there was never a problem with syntax highlight not working and the "Reply" option was always provided and the paste appeared in "Recent Pastes" Just a few minutes ago I posted: https://paste.opensuse.org/pastes/63b21f6108e with the link in a comment on StackOverflow. The command to post was: susepaste -n "David C Rankin" -t "Pico MPU6050" -e 40320 -f c < mpu6050.c The link takes you to the paste, but I see: - No Syntax Highlight - No Ability for a visitor to "Reply" to the paste and - The pasted does not appear as one of "My Pastes" when logged in and it is not shown in the "Recents" list - viewing the entire page. The only thing shown in "My Pastes" is an earlier image paste https://paste.opensuse.org/pastes/7c80e743d044 related to an earlier question on this list about KDE Ark and lzma support.
