[opensuse] Little copy file problem

The problem is, the files have a ":" on their names, and Thunar (XFCE) says the name is invalid, but does not offer as an option to change the name. So the question is: do you know a file browser that does offer to change the name, or even better, changes the name automatically? I try another file browser called "Files". It does change the ":" to "_", but it also changes the "ñ" to "_" which is not correct, as fat does accept the ñ, and it would be more correct to change to 'n'. There is "gnome-commander", which allows change the destination name if you try before pressing enter to go ahead. BUT, not if I select several files to copy. Midnight commander does not allow edit. Well, it does, in a cumbersome manner. Krusader can't. On multiple select it offers to skip. On single file it does not allow to edit name. It fails, and does not say the reason, just "can not copy", retry, cancel. PCManFM-Qt... simply crashes when asked to copy two such files! Tried twice. Others? [opensuse] Error with keys installing rpms

I want to install some rpms on a Tumbleweed system(DVD ISO July 6th, 2019). [opensuse] Brother DCP-7010 as a scanner

So far, my DCP-7010, which is connected by USB, works as a printer only, but I should also like to set it up as a scanner. In my prehistoric SuSE 10.1, it still works, but under Leap 15.1 its installation is obviously a problem. yast2 does not recognize the scanner's driver even though it seems to be present on the computer as can be verified by "sane-find-scanner", which yields the reply: found USB scanner (vendor=0x04f9, product=0x0182) at libusb:003:002 Maybe zypper would be helpful to install it. But I am not familiar at all with zypper. Any help would be welcome. [opensuse] Dolphin not displaying network places

Probably after some update Dolphin no longer displays network places only local things. Possibly I fubarred my config but I can't find out how or why. On the upside: I rediscovered konquerer that does give all network places, browses the net and browses the locals. Now if only it also would make coffee... So basically the problem has been solved, but I'm still wondering. No, the problem is openSUSE does not appear to support DHCPv6-PD, which is needed to use it as a router with most ISPs. I have a block of 2^72 addresses from my ISP. Any I use within that range will be accessible from outside. There is another type of address, called Unique Local Addresses, which are not accessible from elsewhere, though they are routeable, just like RFC1918 addresses on IPv4. [opensuse] boot delay after changing swap partition

On Leap 42.3 (shortly due to be updated to 15.1), in preparation I decided to change the partitioning. In view of my doubling the RAM, I created a new swap partition, /dev/sda2 on an nvme drive (I've set the swappiness=1 as it'll likely never be used, it's really just for very rare and unlikely hibernation as I have plenty of free space on this drive). After a reboot I then deleted the original swap partition on /dev/sdb2. I did all this in YaST Partitioner. Now each boot has a 1m30s delay. In boot.log there are hundreds of timed entries throughout this delay, i.e.: A start job is running for dev-sda2.device (1min 29s / 1min 30s) ending with Timed out waiting for device dev-sda2.device. Dependency failed for Resume from hibernation using device /dev/sda2. In /boot/grub2/grub.cfg I see each boot entry is appended with: resume=/dev/sda2 splash=silent quiet showopts resume=/dev/sda2 splash=silent quiet showopts resume=/dev/sda2 splash=silent quiet showopts So the string three times in succession. How can I fix this? [opensuse] Another annoying "feature" - 15.1 & KDE

There seems to be a bug with KDE on 15.1. Frequently, when I click on an open item on the task bar, the list of windows for that app no longer appears. However, if I just hover over it, then the windows are listed in a horizontal row. Is there anyway to fix this? [opensuse] Trying to activate an HE IPv6 tunnel.

Hi, Well, as suggested, I got an account on Hurricane Electric and I got the tunnel data. The next step is how to configure it on my router. I was reading some Spanish instructions from <https://www.redeszone.net/2019/05/05/tutorial-tunnelbroker-router-asus-ipv6/>, which are for an ASUS router. I don't find instructions for my specific router, a Comtrend VG-8050. Basically the instructions are: +++................... * Server IPv4 Address: we must indicate the IP address that appears in Tunnelbroker as "Server IPv4 Address". * Client IPv6 Address: we must indicate the IP address that appears in Tunnelbroker as "Client IPv6 Address", but without the /64 at the end. * IPv6 Prefix Length: we must indicate the /64 that we have in the final part of the IP address. Simply indicate the "64" without the bar. * Server IPv6 Address: we must indicate the IP address that appears in Tunnelbroker as "Server IPv6 Address", but without the /64 at the end, only the IP address without the prefix. * Tunnel MTU: we select the default value of the tunnel which is 1480. * Tunnel TTL: select 255 which is the default value. In the section of "IPv6 LAN Seetings" we must indicate: * LAN Prefix Length: normally in the tunnels that we create is /64, therefore, we should simply indicate "64". In case you ask for a /48, you must use this prefix. * LAN IPv6 Prefix: we must indicate the address that appears in Tunnelbroker as "Routed /64", but without the /64 at the end, and ended with "::" as you can see.
