[opensuse] tumbleweed problems

Hi, My system (tumbleweed) was running superb after the 4.6 kernel update, however, after the recent updates a couple days ago, I have problems. The Folding @Home client will not start, steam games run very slow, and shutdown goes to the login screen. Don'tknowif there are any other problems. Any ideas? [opensuse] openvpn - Cannot open TUN/TAP dev /dev/net/tun: No such file or directory (errno=2)

This morning I patched/upgraded a 13.2 box and rebooted. Normally I have no problems starting openvpn, but this time the 'tun' module wasn't autoloaded. Nor when I manually tried starting openvpn later. Can anyone suggest a reason why 'tun' was not automatically loaded?? Hi, Has anyone experience with ipv6 on Leap 42.1 ? I'm trying to setup an ipv6 router. I installed Leap without a gui. My external address is automatically configured. That's OK. Trying with yast, I found after searching and trying you only can assign a static ipv6 address by specifying it in the IP-address box. You then can add an ipv4 address. The next step is configuring the internal addess with prefix delegation, but I can't find information how the do that. I found a document for SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 GA. There I found a command /usr/lib/wicked/bin/wickedd-dhcp6 --test eth0 I didn't get any response, but I sniffed the interface and I found a valid dhcpv6 transaction, but no PD-request. /usr/lib/wicked/bin/wickedd-dhcp4 --test eth0 gave me all the information of the ipv4 lease. So how could I add the PD-request, and configure the internal interface using the result ? Any pointers ? Just a quick gauge on people's thoughts on this. My employer recently asked everybody for an updated ID document. For most of their French employees this would be their identity card, but me being British I don't have one, so it would have to be my passport. They want me to send a scan of it to them via email. In the past I've refrained from sending scans of such sensitive documents by an inherently insecure system, so I've been holding off these last few weeks. Since I won't be passing by the office in person anytime soon, aside from putting a photocopy in the post, what would you advise? I'm certainly not going to delve into the complex, murky world of email encryption just for them, and besides, I don't rate the ability of the receptionist at the other end to fathom out anything more exotic than an attached jpeg. Any attempt to send by other means may be in vain since she may forward it by email to head office. [opensuse] USB connected camera

Hi I've been happily connecting my camera and downloading to digikam over the years now i'm getting a connection error. The device notifier recognises the camera when connecting. Digikam can auto detect it but as soon as you try to access it (via digikam or dolphin or gwnview) it throws up an error. In gwenview the error shows this at the top of the viewing pane "Camera:/Nikon %2520DSC%2520D5000%2520(PTP%2520mode)@usb:001,008" In dolphin it shows "camera:/" in the file/folder area above the viewing pane then shows this error just below that "Unknown error code 150, I/O problem Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org." and in the viewing pane it has a folder called Nikon DSC D5000 (PTP mode). This problem has unfortunately coincided with the installation of the latest digikam via "zypper dup" I will log the error but i think i might need more info to add to the log. Any ideas? hello in one linux im create program in qt designer. With command readelf -d and $ldd im find depentes files and put him to same folder like program and make arhiv. Im this arhv send to another linux. Unpack all files, make program executable with comand chmod a+x. When run program i get info that depentes file can find. At least whips still have a use with horses, as there hasn't been something better developed. That hub, from 1998 would be among the last of those devices, as by the mid 90s, switches were appearing. At the time, hubs were still cheaper, but that day has long gone. Hello, My system has a primary language (English UK) and a secondary language (Russian). I'd like to install a secondary keyboard too. But YaST only lets me choose one system keyboard layout. Hello, OpenSUSE Leap with KDE mounts removable media into unique paths like /run/mesia/user/label. This is good when one wants to use a GUI, but not great for accesing a CD/DVD or USB flash drive using a command line. Is there a way to also mount them, as aliases, into fixed mount points, such as /media/dvd or /media/flash?
