[opensuse] LibreOffice : changing label-type

Hi, I have a document that prints addresses to labels of a certain kind (dimensions). Now I got some other kind of labels. How do I change the document to use that new type of labels ? Before it was a page of 3*9 labels, now it's 3*8 labels. Or do I have to start from scratch ? [opensuse] pipe the output of 'find' to 'cp'

Hello listers, I need to pipe the names and locations of files I find by: find /home/username/folder -type f -name "*.doc" to: cp *.doc /home/username/doclist/ The subdirectory /folder contains more than 28,000 files and more than 2,600 subfolders, so it can not be easily done by routine find and cp. I only want to copy (not move) the .doc (and subsequently .txt) files, I do not want to retain any directory structure in the output folder. I've tried these three commands (and lots of variations) after a LOT of googling. cp `find /home/radagus/Desktop -type f -name "*.doc"` /home/radagus/Desktop/current/doclist find /home/username/folder -type f -name "*.doc" -exec cp {} /home/username/doclist/; find /home/username/folder -name \*.doc | cut -d':' -f1 | xargs -I{} cp --parents -v {} /home/username/folder/doclist/ The last one found some of the files but retained a great deal of directory structure. Any suggestions of what I can read or how to get this to work would be appreciated. [opensuse] Paprefs not showing any options

Hallo everyone! In my struggle to stream my audio output of my opensuse box to a raspberry pi which is functioning as a dlna mediarenderer, i came across paprefsm which should give me some solutions…Anyway when i open paprefs, every box I want to tick is greyed out, so that i cannot set up dlna support for pulseaudio. Here are the lines of my pulseaudio default.pa which might give someone a hint: ### Load additional modules from GConf settings. This can be configured with the paprefs tool. ### Please keep in mind that the modules configured by paprefs might conflict with manually ### loaded modules. .ifexists module-gconf.so .nofail load-module module-gconf .fail .endif Anyway as it is said in the default.pa paprefs should be able to setup the network support, but i cannot choose any option in paprefs…Has anyone any ideas about this? [opensuse] Syncing photographs with shotwell on two computers

Shotwell is configured to store tags and tittles in the photos; however, what I do in one computer doesn't show on the other computer, as if it were done in a database instead. [opensuse] root-owned files being written to user space (os 13.2)

Howdy. I am getting root-owned files written to a user directory. Why is this happening and how / where do I configure to get whatever is creating these to instead write to a root-owned space? The files are: ~/.config/YaST2/y2controlcenter-qt.conf ~/.config/YaST2/YQOnlineUpdate.conf ~/.config/YaST2/YQPackageSelector.conf ~/.config/QtProject.conf My desktop is lxde (gtk) and the 13.2 os is: 3.16.7-24-desktop #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Aug 3 14:37:06 UTC 2015 (ec183cc) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Thanks. anyone ever get the above device installed and working? I had it barely working for a few hours and now ---nada I brought this tuner because it is listed as supported on the linuxtv.org site http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Hauppauge_WinTV-HVR-955Q I loaded a new version of the kernel onto my system (which is manjaro openrc) and I scanned it on the atsc over the air channel with a mini- antenna it came with and it pulled up only one channel. So I brought an amplified terk antenna and got a decent channels.conf file out of is with w_scan -af -A1 -c US -x >> ~/channels.conf But during the world series it seems to just stop getting imput. I've using VLC to watch it and used a vlcchans.xspf playlist that w_scan was kind enough to make for me. Kaffeine doesn't work.
