[opensuse] Advice needed: rpcbind Bugzilla-reported bugfix doesn't work here

Hi, I'd need the advice how to report a behavior on one of my systems. It's 12.2 64bit. It uses NFS and some other Sun-RPC based services (ypbind, autofs with an YP map). On that system, rpcbind hangs after some time. [opensuse] cups should keep retrying after dns failure

I have a Samsung CLP-325w printer, its working ok with cups-1.4 in 11.4. The printer gets a variable IP via DHCP, it has a zeroconf name SEC0015999A5DCF.local and its reachable by this name from the workstation. The trouble starts if I'm trying to print something while the printer is still booting and I already sent the command to print my document. During that time the printer can not advertise its name. As a result cupsd stops the printer and never tries again, I have to login via the cupsd web interface and restart the printer. Is there a way to tell cups to keep trying to find the configured printer, instead of stopping the printer after the first failed attempt? I can probably setup a cronjob every minute with 'cupsenable clp325w', maybe there is a better way to achieve the keep-trying? [opensuse] Weirdness with oS and USB input devices when enabling multiple monitors

Hi all, I'm not really sure where to start with this, so here goes. I've got two separate instances where enabling multiple monitors results in weirdness with USB input devices, and am not sure where to begin troubleshooting the problem. One - my Thinkpad W530 at work with three displays (laptop and two external,) running oS 12.3. Everything works fine with just the laptop display, but as soon as I hook up the two external displays, the mouse pointer will randomly freeze for a second, then continue where it left off. I don't see anything in the logs, no CPU spikes, etc. Two - my HP NC6400 at home with two displays (laptop and one external,) running oS 12.2. Again, everything works fine with just the laptop display, but once I hook up the external display, the keyboard and mouse begin randomly getting "stuck" - eg. I'll press the "enter" key, and sometimes it will keep repeating "enter" until I press another key. Likewise, sometimes I'll click on an icon, and the computer will keep "clicking" that icon over and over again. Again, I don't see anything in the logs, no CPU spikes, etc. Has anyone else run into this before? And - where in the world do I go to begin troubleshooting something like this? Hello, Questions: I need some apache2 help. What should the content of /srv/www/htdocs/index.html looklike so to call up the cacti installation screens as listed in the documentation [2] I am trying to create a /srv/www/htdocs/index.html content for a opensuse apache/lamp/cacti installation test server on http://127.0.0.1/ I am trying to use the cacti documentation listed in [1], and I am need help to get to the install screens. What am i missing, can someone tell me whats missing in the documentation ? [opensuse] Limit of columns in LO Calc?

Hi, LO Calc 4/4.1 seems to be limited to 1024 columns, but I need to import matrix having over 5500 columns. Calc says, that data were imported only partially because of too big number of columns... Is there really such limit? Is there any way how to fix that?
