I was misconstrued as having insulted Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. My words were twisted and misinterpreted and I feel that there is a need to explain myself and set the record straight. [b]What really happened[/b] It was sometime in Aug/Sep in the year 2009. The setting was in the Tampines Central office of Asiasoft Online Pte Ltd. I was having a ***verbal*** conversation with Melvin Lee, my new I.T. department manager, when he challenged me to complete an I.T. assignment within a specified period of time. In response to his challenge, I replied in Mandarin: "If I cannot complete the I.T. assignment within a specified period of time, then Lee Kuan Yew is wang ba dan". I used to be fond of using other people's names to "bet" with people but now no more. The Minister Mentor's name came into my mind spontaneously and I used it to "bet" with my I.T. department manager. [b]Explanations[/b] 1. It was not my intention to insult the Minister Mentor at that time. Please note the use of the IF... THEN... statement in my verbal conversation. 2. I did not know wang ba dan [hanyu pinyin] means bastard at all until I consulted Goh Meng Seng much later. I would like to apologize to the Minister Mentor and the Prime Minister of Singapore if I have offended them in any way. I swear it was not my intention to insult the Minister Mentor. Please forgive me for using your name carelessly to "bet" with my former I.T. department manager. [opensuse] Opening attachments in Thunderbird

Hi, I don't know how I did this, but since a while I can't open e.g. pdf-attachments in thunderbird (maybe it was there from the start, but now I find it annoying). I have to save it, or open it with the gimp. I would like to open it in a regular pdf-viewer. The list in "edit/preferences/attachments" is empty. Is this normal ? Do I just search for the binaries for adobe reader or okular when asked how to open it ? [opensuse] A glitch in upgrading Firefox

In my desktop system (v11.3) I wish to upgrade Firefox from v3.6 (which is still the latest on the usual repos) to v4.0.1-1.2. I added the Mozilla additional repo, and gave it a higher priority, and checked "MozillaFirefox-branding-upstream" for the newer release, and allowed YaST to delete the older one. (At this point, YaST did not offer an updated "MozillaFirefox"). The resulting browser loaded, but About Firevox showed that it was still v3.6. A return to YaST now offered "MozillaFirefox" for v4.0.1-1.2, and I tried to install it. YaST said: "MozillaFirefox-4.0.1-1.2.x86_64 requires libmozalloc-so.1(64bit), but this requirement cannot be provided." The attractive option offered is: "Install mozilla_nss-3.12.9-3.2.x86_64 (with vendor change) opensuse --> obs://build.opensuse.org/mozilla" The "mozilla_nss..." file would presumably contain the missing "libmozalloc..." file, and I suppose that the following line is a clue to its whereabouts, but kget says it doesn't know how to download it. [opensuse] Updated kernel only finds s-video output

Hi, After the last kernel update Xorg could only find the s-video output of a radeon graphics card. Reverting back to kernel-desktop-2.6.37.1-1.2 fixes this. Has anyone else seen this? Hi .. [opensuse] webpin CLI still on the fritz for 11.4?

Guys, Just checking on webpin CLI. I still can't use it.
