[opensuse] LibreOffice - have to hit print "TWICE" before a document will print -- anybody else?

Guys, Aside from the document spacing issue with Libre, I am experiencing a bizarre printing issue with Libre as well. For some strange reason, I have to hit the print button TWICE before a document will print. First time the print button is pressed - nothing -- the hp laserjet 4100n just sits there idle. Hit print for the second time and -- presto, the printer springs to life just like it should. I have tried printing from other apps in kde kate/kwrite/kpdf, etc.. and everything prints on the first click of the print button. But... not with Libre. Any ideas about what could be causing this? The printer itself is a 4100n attached to the network via the HPDirect network controller that is built into the printer. It is configured via cups on the network server at work and prints fine for everything except libre. [opensuse] After motherboard chage, OS thinks that the old board is still in

Hi, I have a pretty weird issue here. I just ran an update from OS11.2 -> OS11.4 and after that, most of the hardware doesn't work anymore. hwinfo shows me now several devices which belong to the old board which I threw out like 1,5 years ago. Interesting enough, if I boot the rescue system, hwinfo shows the correct hardware information. Just if I boot from the updated system, it shows all the devs from the old board. The machine in question is my main server here at home, so I would prefer NOT to do a full reinstall. Setting up all the services again from scratch would take days of nonstop work! Where might hwinfo get the weird hardware data from? Posting logs or outputs is rather impossible. [opensuse] Gstreamer help needed

Gstreamer experts, I am playing around with Pithos (pandora desktop client) and am getting the following errors: ERROR:root:Gstreamer error: Your GStreamer installation is missing a plug-in., gstdecodebin2.c(3135): gst_decode_bin_expose (): /GstPlayBin2:player/GstURIDecodeBin:uridecodebin0/GstDecodeBin2:decodebin20: no suitable plugins found The count for dcodebinX goes up to 27, just in case this means anything. I know pithos works on another distribution. Questions: Is the version of gstreamer we have in openSUSE 11.4 too old? That would be sad considering we just released. Do I not have the right dependencies in my package. [opensuse] Cannot boot SUSE Studio image on real hardware

A SUSE Studio Live CD image works well inside the Studio, but does not work on real hardware. The system boots, and even some error windows appear on the X screen which indicates the video driver is working. But the messages say some files are missing. If to switch to console it becomes evident that a half of needed files are missing from the file system. Some basic commands do not work, for example, rpm --help says that the rpm library has "invalid ELF format". The same message occurs when trying to execute some other commands. I thought this could happen due to damaged media, but I verified the content. When openSUSE dropped the older dc_control library, I would have guessed that coriander was no longer going to work. Perhaps the coriander team have now updated the application. I have to do the same for our own application. It is the only thing that keeps our primary app off 11.4. But we know we need to change the code.
