[opensuse] Firefox4 available via you (yast online update)

All, openSUSE 11.4 shipped with Firefox4 Beta 12. Firefox4 final was released a couple days ago, and for openSUSE 11.4 it is now available in the standard security update repository. You just need to get your standard security updates to get it. (I assume the official notice will come soon, but if your like me, you're anxious to get firefox4 final.) [opensuse] 11.2 does not automount ..

Dear List, I have problem with removable drives in suse 11.2 / kde. .. they simply do not automount. I can mount them manually as root, but that is quite cumbersome. I tried to configure from system settings => removable devices but no success so far. Hi, $Subject says everything. regarding zfs-fuse 0.6.9 can't even create pools: it always complains that "the operation is not available on this device". 0.7.0 compiles from scratch is perfectly fine. More informations are available here: http://zfs-fuse.net/issues/127 Please, update the package. [opensuse] Networking _was_ working, now it isn't.

This is on a laptop running oS v11.4 / kde v4.6 I was using the machine, connected wireless. I wanted to make sure that kmail wouild be isolated temporarily from the network, so I opened the networkmanager icon and unchecked wireless. Now I want to restore the network to normal operation. I cannot cause the networkmanager icon to reappear. Clicking on the "Show hidden icons" lists "Network Management"; clicking on that shows: Network management disabled <-- greyed out Enable networking <-- checked Enable wireless. <-- checked In switching from ifup control to networkmanager control, a dialog box appears informing me that "Applet needed", and informing me that if it is installed, I should start it manually; but running knetworkmanager in konsole does nothing except return to the prompt. The system's response to any attempt to reach out to the world is "No network running". A search reports lots of reported problems about networkmanager, but I haven't found this one yet. [opensuse] kchmviewer scroll bar

Hello: I am using kchmviewer on openSUSE 11.2 with KDE 3.5.10. The version of installed kchmviewer is kde3-kchmviewer-3.1-47.2.i586 from opensuse KDE3 build repos. When I open I chm file in it, there is no vertical scrollbar for scrolling the text up and down. I can scroll up and down using the mouse button or up/down cursor keys but I miss the scroll bar. Is it normal for kchmviewer not having a vertical scroll bar, or might there be a problem with my system? Does anyone know how to use @opensuse email? 1) How do you determine what is the part before @opensuse? 2) How do you manage where the email is forwarded to? I've asked here before and also tried to email postmaster@ and never got an answer that works. [opensuse] Extremely low graphical performance under 11.4

After update to 11.4 I experience extremely low graphical performance with 260.19 Nvidia drivers.
