[opensuse] Will 'webpin' be fixed for 11.4?

Guys, What is the status of webpin cli for 11.4? I patched the existing package to work with 11.4, but it still looks like nothing is indexed. webpin still doesn't work for 11.3 despite being told it would nearly one-year ago. It is a very very handy cli tool to query packages to find out what versions or available in 'what repo' regardless of whether you have the repo added. There is no cli alternative and it is a waste to have to fire up a browser just to search for packages... Anybody got the latest on this? [opensuse] Boot message errors

Hello SuSE people. [opensuse] Looking for way to convert Thunderbird mail files to kmail format.

Does anyone know of a procedure for kmail to access Thunderbird's mail format. A converter perhaps? I lost Thunderbird with an OpenSUSE 11.3 security patch this morning and need to find alternatives if I cannot get Thunderbird to work again. [opensuse] NAT problem with FWBUILDER

firewall / Policy / rule 7 # All other attempts to connect to I've installed FWBUILDER on my OpenSUSE 11.3 firewall and am trying to configure access to an IMAPS server behind the firewall, I have followed the examples in the documentation, but I can't seem to get it to work. I use www.grc.com to run port scans to see what's open. If I just enable imaps in the top policy, the port scan shows port 993 closed. However, if I enable NAT, it now appears the port is blocked (stealth). I have no problem accessing the imaps if I use the firewall that came with OpenSUSE. [opensuse] Opensuse 11.4 no sound and Amarok not playing tracks

HI all: I have done a install of openSUSE 11.4 on a new machine. I have noticed to problems. One sound does not seem to work and amarok dose not seem to be playing tracks. Can someone help me trouble shoot and correct the problem. Hello Mates, i just want to attend the virtual Launchparty in Secondlife. I've downloaded the last Viewer but on my x86_64 i got: "The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error. I <send> the message in Kmail; the progress window at bottom right remains at 0%; after a time, the time-out message appears. Help? > Are you using an ADSL connection ? or maybe your ISP is having issues The connection is ADSL. But the same behavior for all three servers, and the (WiFi) laptop, on which I am writing this, has no trouble sending mails. I think the problem has to be in either the machine (which connects to the router through a short cable) or the router. To check which, I will connect the laptop with a cable too.
