[opensuse] Where is kdm theme selection in kde4?

Guys, Where do you change the kdm theme in kde4? In kde3 you have kdm theme manager. I've looked though that un-holy mess of kde4 system settings in 4.5.2-2 and I can't find a way to change it. I burned them on my old desktop, the one that I rebuilt. It had a Pentium 4 and 4mb ram. I burned them on 11.1 suse using k3b. This was the same box that I burned the 11.1 and 11.2 dvd's on. [opensuse] Defunct Packman Repository

I had packman.linuxheads.com as the repository for packman. In yast2 I have changed to the new repository from the list given. But when I start yast2 software manager it sits for ages still trying to get connected to packman.linuxheads.com until it timeouts then proceeds to correctly use the new settings. [opensuse] ktorrent plugin for google chrome

Is there a plugin available for google chrome in order to directly open in ktorrent *.torrent files ? I have a Word .doc file that OpenOffice 3.2 (openSUSE 11.2) will not open. It claims that it is 'corrupt', and offers to repair it. But the repair fails. Since I don't know what I am looking for, I may be looking in the wrong place for such a tool. The document is from my daughter's school. I am not sure what version of Word they are using. [opensuse] Any samba guru around?

Hi, I'm contemplating a new project setting a Samba Domain with many flavors of WinXP and Win7. The sane approach would be to unify all the clients with the latest service pack en each case. I'm wondering if this days the PDC/BDC model is still the only way to go. I'm planning to install 2 nodes on the main office with LDAP multimaster replication and one LDAP slave on each remote office. On top of that I'll be setting Samba3 PDC + BDC in the main office and a BDC in each remote office. I've read something about clustering with ctdb, is this a master/master alternative to the PDC/BDC model or it only works for clustering fileservers? I have an IBM Thinkpad R51e with a fresh install of 11.3 plus KDE 4.5 stable - after figured out to use "nodemodeset", the system at first ran fairly stable, but then started ending my session at seemngly arbitrary times. One of my co-workers needs an ubuntu system. [opensuse] cron - Permission denied?

I'm beginning to upgrade some systems to 11.3, and have hit a weird problem - I have some cron entries in /etc/cron.d for running under certain system userids. Before 11.3, this was not a problem, but now I get "Permission denied". I've googled some and have seen e.g.: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47456 which appears to describe a very similar problem. The userid in question is uid=112, no login, has a password (I think YaST required it) and shell=/bin/false.
