[opensuse] Please, advice

Some years ago I developed a whole Kinetic Monte Carlo code in C++ and availed myself of KDevelop. I am grateful to a Linux Engineer for setting up KDevelop for my project and teaching me how to use it profitbly. After that experience I resorted to scripting languages that, although less optimized and efficient, allow for fast debugging ... Now I have to contribute a piece of a big project which is coded in C.... sigh ! I would appreciate your advice about a development environment, an EDE, which is friendly and easy to use (for people who write C code every now and then). In addition, I have to start using glib functions in a C++ program. I do not have any previous experience with glib, I guess there are many experts out there that can suggest me where to find some good documentation (possibly with usage examples) Thanks a lot. [opensuse] 11.2/RC2 Can't use Hulu.com in Firefox, Konqueror Or Opera

I installed 11.2/RC2 on an Athlon XP 3200+ with an nVidia 6200. I can't get the site hulu.com to play any videos. I tried in Firefox, Konqeror and Opera. Each time the loading video locks up the browser. I even tried to install the plugin from Adobe's website and the same results. I'm not running the nVidia drivers because I didn't see a repo for it yet. Anyone got any ideas? [opensuse] Practicalities of IPv6

Rather than hijacking Robert Days thread, I thought I'd start a separate one on the practicalities of IPv6: Co-existence: if someone were to go IPv6-only, how is access for IPv4-only clients achieved? Ie. if I move to an IPv6-only network, how do IPv4-only clients deal with it? Do I need to do anything? Dual-stack on ADSL - is it possible to have IPv4 and IPv6 on the same ADSL line? (ignoring whether or not a supplier would support it). Hardware - does anyone want to recommend an ADSL router with IPv6 support? We've been using Zyxel for the last five years, and I've been looking at Zyxels 662, but I've grown a little wary of Zyxel (support in particular). Hi, How does one enter a bug for a Build-Service repository to Novell's Bugzilla? What product/component combination should one choose? My concrete problem is "openSUSE BuildService - Mozilla", a.k.a. http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla, where seamonkey-mail was not updated in parallel with other seamonkey packages. Thus zypper update wants to remove it. I want to open a bug for that. This must be stopped. Since I don't know how the tunnel is established, I can't comment on this. You can see the default route by using the command "ip route ls". After you stopped establishing that default route, add 41.0.0.1 - 41.95.255.255 dsl0 196.0.0.1 - 196.255.255.255 dsl0 to /etc/sysconfig/network/routes. Hi, I have a normal adsl ip account setup on eth0, I also have a local only account setup as a tunnel through dsl0. The dsl0 account cannot access anything outside of South Africa and if I enable it everything tries to use it. What can I use to only route local (41.0.0.1/41.95.255.255 and 196.0.0.1/196.255.255.255) through dsl0 and anything else through eth0? Hello list, I am wanting to rip video from several ISO images I have, normally I would use k9copy for something like this but every time I have tried it would seg. fault on me. VLC seams to only want to grab the first chapter of the video when I have it convert and save.
