Documents like this: http://en.opensuse.org/Software_Repositories Is a downloadable version of these documents available for local browsing? [opensuse] java-1_6_0-sun-src package is missing in the main repository

There is no jdk source code package available for jdk 1.6 in the main repository, which is highly needed during development. There is java-1_5_0-sun-src source package for java 1.5, but no 1.6 analog. Also there is no javadoc packages neither for 1.5, no for 1.6 javas. [opensuse] Gigabyte instability? cron out-of-it's-mind?

List, Per, Continuing on in the guest to what is causing the ever present, but random instability in my 10.3 install on a Gigabyte N700SL board, I captured the following processes while the system was rendered useless by what appears to be cron gone mad. I have no funcky cron jobs, and my best guess is cron went south as the result of a hardware instability related to the Gigabyte mb that I have installed. It's not memory and it's not power supply. Both fresh and changed, but the same instability continues. The instability was present when the box was a mandrake 2005 server, and the exact same instability remains under 10.3. Nothing fancy here. Just a simple dm-1 dm-2 (2 250G Seagate) md raid 1, dvd drive, old ati xpert 2000 card (it is a text mode machine) and a 20G Maxtor as sda that holds the swap only. [opensuse] Camorama error

I hv an error with camorama, dont know how to solve it. Please help. The error message is : "Could not connect to video device (/dev/video0). Please check connection" But the webcam works fine with Skype. Hi.. I am running opensuse10.3 using KDE. But I installed the Gnome Base System and the Gnome Desktop Environment. The idea with the Gnome install is to be able to run a software called Analyzer-0.1.2. It should be run under Gnome. The Analyzer is for a Vector Network Analyzer. Does anyone have a suggestion for the above referenced machine, that installs without any hassle, special drivers, or anything else, to SuSE 9.3? It should be low cost, hopefully. I don't want to look for repositories, special RPMs, I want the system to recognize and install it, period. I have had it with things that are supposed to work, but don't. I want to install FAX4CUPS to work with HylaFax, and have found a package for it that is a noarch.rpm. My understanding from definitions I find on the Web is that this means it is CPU-hardware independent, so I can use it in a x86_64 system; what about distribution dependence?.
