Prelink problems with Firefox

Hi, I followed the instructions at the wiki and I am using prelink in Suse 9.3 and Suse 10.0. In both versions I have the same problem: Firefox sometimes crashes when I save a file to disk. Does anyone have the same problem? Cheers, Raúl

Including different backgrounds

On http://kde-look.org there are several backgrounds that are made for SUSE. Is there a way to include these in the backgrounds already provided by Novell/SUSE? Even if the site is called KDE-look, the backgrounds can be used anywhere. As you can filter on licence, so no issues there. 10.0 *box theme

Hi, im looking for people who are willing to create a unified theme for the *box window managers (openbox, blackbox, fluxbox) based on the new wallpaper by Ken (/usr/share/wallpaper/suse10*) for inclusion into SUSE Linux 10.0. Screensaver fix.

For those who've had recent screensaver problems, use YOU to update......there are 2 updates today, once is security related. There's a second one which is a KDE base patch. Applying it did fix the screensaver problem I was having. Fred -- Planet Earth - a subsidiary of Microsoft. We have no bugs in our software, Never! We do have undocumented added features, that you will find amusing, at no added cost to you, at this time.

find command warning??

Hi All, Any idea why SuSE 9.3 would give me this warning every time I run find? I am using ext3 for filesystems instead of the default reiserfs. Never seen this before in other distros such as Fedora Core, Mandriva, CentOS. find: WARNING: Hard link count is wrong for /proc: this may be a bug in your filesystem driver. Automatically turning on find's -noleaf option. Earlier results may have failed to include directories that should have been searched. Thanks, Phil

new ATI driver.

Hey all. ATI has finally put out the 8.16.20 driver, however after installing it I don't have any 3d support. I've usually gone the route of downloading the one off of ftp.suse.com and installing the kernel modules etc. Is there someone who is ahead of the game on this one and has the newest ATI drivers already packaged for Suse 9.3? I've been told that this driver fixes a lot of GL issues that the ATI drivers have been encountering with major apps. Presumably it is, since you can get serve static content from ~/public_html/...but just to be sure. Then look in /etc/apache2/mod_userdir.conf Add "+Includes" to the Options line in the Directory section. That should do it... If it doesn't, though, I'd like to know that... :-) - Ian
