[9.0] Another sensors question

After running sensors-detect(from 2.8.0) I saw it creadted some of the files it needed, but still not the nforce2, But I am still lokking where to put it to force it to be seen.. However, on a slightly different direction, sensors-detect gave me this: To load everything that is needed, add this to some /etc/rc* file: # I2C adapter drivers modprobe i2c-isa # I2C chip drivers modprobe w83781d # sleep 2 # optional /usr/local/bin/sensors -s # recommended I am going to force it with modprobe i2c-nforce2, when I can find where it goes, I don't believe it goes w/ the isa one.. The adding it to some /etc/rc* file that has me confused. Is there a preferred one or do I just add it before the rcexit to any one that catches my eye???? Thanks

Trying to add socks service in YaST

It won't let me enter a user or group. It won't let me save it without entering a user or group. I tried editing an existing service and couldn't select a user or group there either. XDM or alike issues

Hello suse-linux-e, Well this is somehow congussing to explain but i'll try to. Specifications: AMD Athlon XP 1700+ 512Mb DDR SDRAM MSI K73 Ultra Motherboard SuSE 9.0 Pro KDE Installed I have a GForce MX card according to the /etc/X11/XF86Config Section "Device" BoardName "GeForce2 MX/MX 400" BusID "1:0:0" Driver "nvidia" Identifier "Device[0]" Screen 0 Option "Rotate" "off" Option "NoLogo" "True" VendorName "NVidia" And use KDM and KDE altogether i can start/stop the XDM (KDM according to the message that shows when i turn it off) server twice but whenever i try to re-start it the computer FREEZES COMPLETILY and theres' no other way to make it work but reboot. Wireless access

I just finished installing SuSE 9.0 on the machine, and somehow it is working now ... almost. I can see my router, and I can see the other machines on my local network. I have no problem mounting NFS directories on the network. What I can't do is see the internet. Logic tells me that it should be a lot easier to get this working than it was to get the wireless card working. The problem is that I don't have a clue as to where to start. I've looked at everything I could think of. I even added my IPs name server IP addresses manually. Note: if I ping something inside my network, it works. If I try to ping something outside my network - even by IP address - I get a message telling me the network in unreachable. Printing problem

The Print Manager is showing a lightening bolt in the Job ID column. The 'State' of the job is: processing, the IPP report says the job is printing but the job is not printing. What does the lightening bolt mean? How do I correct it? Hello everyone: I've had to reinstall SuSE 8.2 and one of the features I liked before but can't remember how I did it was to select the color used to highlight text in K-mail. For example, the default is white text on a blue background. I was able to change this to black text on an orange or deep yellow background but I've forgotten exactly where I made this change. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mike

Help! I have Mail Merge down pat using MS Word... but have not been able to do a thing with in in OO. I have tried the help files in OO and they are not helpful to me at all.
