Gaim in trouble...:-(

Hi! After the latest uprades of Gaim (now it's gaim-0.70-SuSE.ulb.1) it refuses to start, the message I get is: gaim: error while loading shared libraries: libnss3.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Anyone having the same problem? susefirewall2 faq pdf

I downloaded the file firewall2-a4-0-9.pdf from sourceforge but I can't open it with acrobat nor gv. Is there a text or html version anywhere? Acrobat could not open 'firewall2-a4-0-9.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been corrupted (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). Xvid and Mplayer

Hi everyone! I tried to recompile mplayer with xvid support according to the indications in DOCS/en/codecs.html but the mplayer configure doesn't detect the xvid installation. updatedb error

I am getting the following error when I run updatedb as root: /usr/bin/updatedb: line 213: 8419 Segmentation fault $find $SEARCHPATHS $ $prunefs_exp -type d -regex "$PRUNEREGEX" $ -prune -o -print Anyone know what is causing this? D.C.

Stripping core text out of forwarded email in KMail

Hi Guys, When I recieve an email that contains forwarded content there is a section that has > characters denoting the quoted content. Is there a way to strip out the > characters easily? URGENTLY NEED HELP - Postfix relay

I've just noticed in the last two days something has gone horribly wrong with Postfix on SuSE 8.1. My machine has got a massive queue of emails that it is attempting tosend to AOL customers that I never sent myself. AOL is refusing connections, so these emails are sitting in the queue. I've just quickly done a few mail relay tests and all passed.Now I'm not sure if it is due to the Spammer being on the same ISP as myself or due to some other problem with Postfix. I had configured it to "Soft Bounce" emails as I've been testing a fewthings.How can I remove all these emails from the queue, as it is sending hundreds of requests to AOLs mail servers, and this is probably not agood idea. Keeping Yast2 current with manual installs

I just performed a manual install of Mozilla Firebird .061 onto my 8.2 Pro box, first uninstalling the 1.02 package that was present on the system. Since Firebird was installed not from an RPM but simply extracted into a dir manually, I'm wondering if is it possible to have Yast2 recognize it in its installed list for future upgrades and consistency? I would prefer to manage my system with one tool however I'm finding that as I add applications Yast is becoming outdated. Appreciate any and all comments! Kirb Nesbitt SuSE 8.2 Pro --
