Strange Date Behaviour

Happy New Year Everybody :-) Anybody else noticed that this list seems to have jumped to 2003 already? Mails from the list appear with this date (Jan 01 2003) on my box. This does not happen with a test mail I sent from one of my accounts to another one ... Cheers !! xconsole: Couldn't release PPP unit: Inappropriate ioctl for device

Hi! in xconsole within kde, whenever I stop the internet connection (using kinternet), it says: Dec 28 20:10:47 pinguin pppd[2969]: Couldn't release PPP unit: Inappropriate ioctl for device It seems to be no big problem, I can continue, dial in again etc., but I guess there is never an error without reason. I'm running SuSE 7.2 prof. Updated to kde2.2.2, first with qt 2.3.2, but after an extremely slow konqueror etc. back to the original qt 2.3.0. and then update to qt 2.3.1 using the rpm from trolltec.

I looked around but couldn't find the answer. I would like to convert existing ext2 file systems to ext3 I used the tune2fs -j /dev/hdXX format and changed the entry in /etc/fstab It still comes up as an ext2 system using auto, if I put ext3 in fstab it comes up with a wrong file type error. What am I doing wrong? thanks in advance
