[SLE] Juno email on Linux?????

i was just wondering if it is possible to check and send email to and from my juno email account while im booted into linux? i just upgraded my juno to the newest release and i was impressed for a free winders proggie...but i dont care about the program if i can access it in linux...... thanx... [SLE] printcap woes and multiple paper size suport

Suse 6.3 full Distro , Epson 1160 color inkjet , Setup with stcolor driver Hi folks , got several problems here. I have an Epson 1160 color inkjet that suports up to 13x44 inch paper. 1/ there is no setting in yast->hardware->printer->page size for 13 X 22 inch paper , nor is there any way of creating/editing a custom size. How can you assing it a custom size. 2/ via yast and the printcap tool , it allows you to create only ONE PAPER SETTING How can you create more than one paper size settiing. ie 8.5 X 11 , 13 X 22 and 11 X 13 paper sizes and allow the swicthing between the three. [SLE] CorelDraw cyrillic character set

Hello, I am grabbing cyrillic TrueType fonts off of my CorelDraw CD. This is the fonts.scale codings for one of them: cc50012m.ttf -urw-CourierMCY-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-ascii-0 cc50012m.ttf -urw-CourierMCY-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-fcd8859-15 cc50012m.ttf -urw-CourierMCY-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-15 cc50012m.ttf -urw-CourierMCY-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-m-0-iso8859-1 I am familiar with KOI8 CP1251 ISO-8859-5 But what character set is used here? I was able to read a README file in Russian with one of these fonts, where KOI8 would not work. I take your point but I disagree. My point is this. The cost of reeducating both users and the bulk of the tech support departments (most often staffed by people with 3 support options..1. CTR-ALT-DEL. 2. Hit Reset, and 3. "It'll be ok tomorrow") the cost to most small to mid companies of this reducation and porting apps from bloody MS-Acces and VB.. it's all too hard and involves far too much politics. I work with a number of AU govt departments and it is all they can do to get the powers that be to buy Netware over windows NT for there multination WAN requirements... MS is simply the easy option. even in the face of striking evidence that Netware is more reliable and more extensible than NT... I'm reminded of the old phrase "noone ever got fired for buying an IBM" .. Anyway I like Linux and for those of you who have looked at Corel Linux, it's install and config and most notably it's new X Desktop brings (KDE based) is as close to windows I've ever used. They even got Samba working almost as easily as Win95. [SLE] KDE and numlock

Ok everyone, Now correct me if I am wrong but recently I think I read here in the maillist that with the emulation of the ATAPI CD device it would be shown as sg*. [SLE] no sound on a sblive

Has anyone here had any problems with a sound blaster live platinum? I can't seem to get mine to play any sound (either in kde or command line). i used the rmp off of suse's ftp (just installed suse a few days ago) which apparently had problems (look in the suse support db). [SLE] Umax scanners

Hi everyone. Anyone got a Umax scanner running under 6.3? All SANE stuff points us in this direction except that the docs. tell us that we have to get a proper Adaptec card to run it. Here in Spain that is ridiculously expensive. Maybe HP or Epson which we can get more or less on demand? Wait for USB? Any advice much appreciated.
