[SLE] trouble with masqurading or dns

Explorer not cooperating or connecting to web. Cable to [dhcpcd] Linux to [dhcpd] home network 192.168.2.0/24 caching nameserver listening on eth0 and eth1 [courtesy of Mandrake rpm] masquerading is up on 192.168.2.0/24 IP Forwarding on. PC on home network is pingable to and from Linux. Samba works. Network unreachable when trying to ping eth0 external address. have ISP's nameservers and 192.168.2.1 listed as nameservers. PC's gateway is 192.168.2.1 and nameserver. No proxies set in explorer and no port forwarding. IDEAS Please. [SLE] supported tape drive?

Hi list, I have a Seagate STT20000 (20 GB) tape drive. A quick look at the hardware support database lists its smaller brother, the STT8000A as supported. Can it be automatically assumed that the 20 GB drive is also supported under the new kernel? Any help is sincerely appreciated. Hello.. I have tried compiling png2html several times.. both on SuSE 6.0 and 6.2 but it has never worked.. i get this errors.. gcc -o png2html png2html.c -O2 -Wall -lpng -lgd /tmp/ccebCaIz.o: In function `main': /tmp/ccebCaIz.o(.text+0x223): undefined reference to `gdImageCreateFromPng' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `deflate' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `inflate' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `inflateInit_' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `crc32' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `deflateInit2_' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `inflateReset' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `deflateReset' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `inflateEnd' /usr/lib/libpng.so: undefined reference to `deflateEnd' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [png2html] Error 1 So strange, because png and gd both work in other apps.. [SLE] network startup

I vaguely remember this question appearing a while back, but I can't remember the answer and can't find it in the archives. I am setting up 6.3 on a new laptop and mostly its working very well. However, I can't get it to properly start networking on bootup. The startup scripts are trying to setup the network before the pcmcia module for the network card is loaded so that the network initializing fails for lack of a working adapter. I'ld appeciate some advice on how to modify which script file to solve this problem.
