Hi, Newbie here. Last week I used YaST to install SuSE 5.2. Had it put LILO in /dev/hdc1 [not MBR] and am calling that with System Commander in the MBR of /dev/hda. That worked great. Then when it was evident that the XF86 binary had not been installed, I used YaST to install that X package only. Now the X-Windows works but when System Commander calls LILO, I see: lilo.......... and it just sits there. So I'm now getting into 5.2 via a boot to the CD. This works of course, but I would love to fix the LILO and learn from the problem. A look at the LILO config file showed no reference to startx & the real operative line seemed to be simply: image = /vmlinuz Any thoughts? Hi all, with your help, your suggest, the manual and so on I am able to dial my ISP and I have installed netscape. Now I have another problem, I hope you know the solutions. If I ask for an address like 194.29.8.13 I get the page, but if I put www.service.com netscape tell me that is unable to locate the server...........
