There should be a README or INSTALL file in there. <DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>I am trying to connect to the Internet using Suse Linux 5.1 and I can't get by Boca Research 33,600 ACF Internal modem detected by Linux (i.e the PnP card isn't recognized). What program(s) do I use to get the card recognized at startup? I can't figure out the isapnptools. [S.u.S.E. Linux] Wabi

I just tried to install wabi (from a .tgz file) and a problem arose. I looked through the wabi documentation and could find nothing on the error I got. Wabi is not licensed to run. After this, there is a message that says to look in /etc/(somedirectoryicantremember)/licenses.wabi is the error message I get. Anybody have any ideas? [S.u.S.E. Linux] Printing in Xwindows

Good People, I realize this is not quite a SuSe problem, but it should be an easy one to answer. I the file ".fvwm2rc" there is a place for printing, but nothing is there. I want to print the screen while I am in Xwindows, and I suspect it is up to me to add something some- where, but what? [S.u.S.E. Linux] Saving whats in xwindows

How do you leave Xwindows yet save what you have set up in there? When I first load Xwindows, many of the windows are too big. I have to change them and reduce them to size and move them about and etc. Yet when I have to depart Xwindows all of this work is forgotten, and I want to know how to "save " what I have previously done. I am still learning how to set up my Xwindows so that this will not be a problem, but if I could "save" the info, then I would not have to even set it up correctly. Her is the README. There's no INSTALL. All the other files look like scripts, without instructions. PPPWizard is distributed under the GNU Public License. Enjoy! It may be crude but I hacked it together in a few hours. I will work on it more as I catch potential bugs, or ways to make it more efficient. if your modem is plug and play (and i think it is), you will also have to install isapnptools and configure linux to recognize your pnp devices. I had to do the same with my Motorolla VoiceSrfr to get it to work. It's pretty tricky to do as well. [S.u.S.E. Linux] Star Office locks up

Perhaps this is better directed to the Star Division folks, but I'm not sure if this is a Linux problem or a Star Office problem. I downloaded Star Office for Linux yesterday. I installed it and fired it up. Wow, way cool! Unfortunately it locks up after about ten minutes of use. It seems to happen when I am accessing menus. Has anybody else seen this. I tried both the single user and network installs. If I get an answer from the Star Office folks I'll post it here FYI. [S.u.S.E. Linux] PS/2 & Intellimouse

I downloaded Star Office 40 Yesterday. I had some major problems that, according to the Star Division NG, were caused by using a PS/2 type mouse. I also had problems earlier using my Intellimouse. I know at one point I had upgraded the Xfree86 3.3.2. I don't remember what else it took to make this work. I had my Intellimouse working as a typical 3 button mouse. When I thought the Intellimouse was the problem I grabbed my old serial mouse off my windows 95 486 and set it up to work on my Linux system. This verified to me that the problem with Star Office was indeed the mouse. I then downloaded a patch from Star Division that was supposed to fix the mouse problem. I went to put the imps2 mouse back in, using XF86Setup. That option is no longer there. The Intellimouse option that is displayed does not work at all. This system has been rebootted, reconfigured, reassembled, upgraded, crashed, broken, repaired, and who knows what else, in the last three weeks that I have been using Linux. I cannot for the life of me remember what I did to get the Intellimouse working. Can anybody help me? BTW, it looked to me like the Star Division folks were claiming Linux support for PS/2 mice is a bit shaky. I know I am not having a good time of things right now.
