[SuSE Linux] Possible to Use a Pen in Linux?

I have a Wacom pen tablet. Against all odds I use it in OS/2 Warp 4.0. But does anyone know anything about the possibility of using a pen in S.u.S.E.? [SuSE Linux] 6.0 question

Does anyone know if 6.0 will support this motherboard? It's a Digital Alpha PCI 64-275. Also, does this board support regular SIMMS or is it special ram? Thinking of building myself a hotrod. [SuSE Linux] Initrd image fails...

Hi, I've rebuilt my kernel, recompiled it and now my document is telling me to create an 'initrd image' in order to load my SCSI modules at boot time. When I try to run ' # /sbin/mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.0.35.img 2.0.35' I get the following error. # mount: the kernel does not recognize /dev/loop0 as a block device (maybe 'insmod driver' ?) Can't get a loopback device. This suggests that the loopback block device is unavailable or that a line for the scsi adapter is missing from my /etc/conf.modules file (which is not!). [SuSE Linux] Company access to the internet with ISDN

<PRE> Greetings to all, I will shorthly receive an old box ( Pentium 90 with 96 Mb RAM, 1 Gb SCSI drive on ADAPTEC 2940) I was thinking of using this machine to be the dialup server to the Internet and a file server for NT workstations, SGI stations, PC Linux stations ( in a close future ). I was thinking of using Linux because NT on such a machine will be really slow. However I know how to do it on NT Just install : NT server Wingate from Qbik software MDaemon from ALT-N Technologies the ISDN board and that's it . It seems to me that it will be a little more tricky in Linux. the goal is to have people accessing the Internet trough that machine ( wingate ) and this machine calling on a predefined schedule to store the mail locally waiting for user to pick it up ( MDaemon). Are they suggested reading ??? any input will be greatly appreciated. regards to all. If you get unknown host, then more of a name issue. You have your resolv.conf file specifiing the ISP's DNS? your PAP secrets file really just needs one. Do a tail on /var/log/message and see if you are really connecting (it should give you remote and local ip). The other thing, do you have a network card in the machine? Do you have a defaultroute established? If so, then when you connect to your ISP, the PPPD won't override your defaultroute with the dialup one (which you want it to). [SuSE Linux] acroread displays corrupted

I've installed acroread on my SuSE 5.3 intel system and find that it corrupts the displayed pages with both color and line artifacts. The latest acroread was also retrieved from Adobe with the same result. What am I missing here??? Any suggestions or pointers will be much appreciated. Thanks. Hi I have had suse 5.3 installed for a few weeks, so I am still very new at all this and I have been following the postings about wvdial for some time now, however I am just as confused as I was when I first started. My problem is, after readind the "readme" file over and over I still can't understand it - I must be thick or something, so could someone please tell me what "To build and install WvDial, then: make make install" means?
