[opensuse] DJBDNS on OpenSuSE 11.1

Dear All, My apologize if my post is OOT. I need to create a DNS resolver (dnscache) on OpenSuSE 11.1 that able resolving my local machines ie. host1.mydomain.co.id. I created the zone by tinydns and "integrate" to dnscache, then I succeed to resolve machine host1.mydomain.co.id. The problem of the whole job, dnscache no longer able to resolve all of global dns such as google.com, yahoo.com ,etc and vice versa. Need your advise how to make dnscache able to resolve either local & global FQDN in single box. Hi all, has anyone got the Bluetooth to work on a Dell Latitude D630 in either KDE (KDE Bluetooth) or Gnome (Bluetooth Manager & Framework)? It can be seen with lsusb as: Bus 002 Device 002: ID 413c:8140 Dell Computer Corp. Wireless 360 Bluetooth I even put a Bluetooth USB dongle in and it is seen with lsusb as: Bus 005 Device 003: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode) How can they be activated and the Laptop be made discoverable? All, Does anyone know how the Okular yellow highlight tool is supposed to work? I've never used it before. == details I need to review some PDFs and I wanted to highlight sections for myself to come back to. I tried the yellow highlight tool and it doesn't seem to work. I can select the tool and a highlighter icon appears in the upper left corner, but I can't figure out how to apply the highlighting. I've got KDE 4.4 from OBS. [opensuse] Recent updates disk usage

Hello List, I just did a zypper ref ; zupper up. Well, I didn't do the up actually, as it tells me 156 packages to upgrade, 3 new. Overall download size: 267.6 MiB. After the operation, additional 86.7 MiB will be used. 3 new files, (2 from boost and gimp-lang which actually uses 26.3MiB), so an update brings 60MiB additional disk usage. Somehow I find this suspicious (maybe I'm paranoid?) Or is this normal for Factory packages (I'm using the KDE4 Factory Desktop repo and assume most of the increase stems from there). Is there an (easy) way to find out where this increase coms from? [opensuse] f*ck F*ck - damn nvidia mismatch

Hi all I've stuffed my config by using "zypper dup" - it seems to have stuffed the Xorg/X11/Nvidia config as i can't load X now. its the old mismatch of Nvidia and X11-video-nvidiaG02, they are both 190.53 but the nvidia-gfxg02 is a couple of minor releases higher - is there any reason for them to produce these complimentary files on the Nvidia.com site when they don't match? is it possible to use zypper to restore the previous config? [opensuse] Need Help building png2qrgb -- qt-mt not found -- but I'm looking at it??

Guys, I'm stuck with another lack of knowledge on how adjust the ./configure options to get png2qrgb to build. The configure error complaints that it cannot find the library qt-mt, but I have it installed. I'm using as specific as possible a configure cli to make sure the libraries are found, but it gives the same error as running just './configure': ./configure --prefix=/opt/kde3/ \ --with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt3/ \ --with-qt-libraries=/usr/lib/qt3/lib/ <snip> checking for libz... -lz checking for libpng... -lpng -lz -lm checking for libjpeg6b... no checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1 (20021021)) (library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation! For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log. Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!
