I don't change it but anybody is allowed to do this. there is some sort of bashrc default. To have something reliable, one should probably go the openSUSE way, that is changing in sysconfig (eventually with YaST). Hi, Questions about strongswan. does anybody succeeded in getting strongswan up-and-running? I tried to follow tthe config-guide from the SW-site, but i'm stuck. I have never used Gizmo5, which I believe is what you mean. It says on their website "Call anyone in the world".... However, their Linux Version is pretty outdated, in the latest version mentions Fedora 8... Ekiga or GnomeMeeting is VOIP; you'll need a SIP Address or H.323... [opensuse] Error downloading new theme for plasma...

Hi, When I try to download a new theme, I get the following error : "Could not load data providers". I think it is something to do with the company firewall blocking the access. [opensuse] Repo Metalinks in Yast

What are metalinks for the repositories, as are mentioned in the link below ? http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openS… Can they be enabled (or added as repos) in Yast --> Software --> Repositories ? Is there an advantage/disadvantage to using metalinks instead of standard repo links ? I suspect this may be related to multiple addresses on multiple interfaces, whereof some are VMware virtuals. My thought was to be able to bind Xvnc to a single address, but I can't find any info on how to do that.. I start it from xinetd. [opensuse] problems starting CUPS

Hi List-mates I Have now been running 11.1 since the day it was released. After been fighting with my ATI card for awhile, you know the problem with that card and 11.1 I'm now left wiht one thing there drive me crazy.
