[opensuse] fixed kernel for 10.2

Hi, I'm suffering from this problem: <https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=224778> At the end of the bug it says it is fixed in the current 10.2 tree. I'm running now 2.6.18.2-34-default, and it is dated Nov 27. And the entry for the fix is made on Jan 10, i.e. it is not included there. There is no update package, so what I should do to get the update? Compile my own kernel? Where from to get the updated suse sources with this patch included? [opensuse] Daily, Weekly and monthly crontabs without using root

[opensuse] KSMServer translation/string bug

Novell wants too much of my personal information to report a bug, so I hope someone here can either report or fix the bug. ;-) Using KDE 3.5.6 binaries. In the KSMServer end session dialog, there is popup help for the reboot option that contains a grammatical error. I think suse puts the text in kdebase3.spec.cpp:204: "<qt><h3>Restart Computer</h3><p>Log out of the current session and restart " +"the computer</p><p>Hold the mouse button or the space bar for a short while " +"to get a list of options what to boot</p></qt>" In the above, the word "what" should be removed., such that it reads "to get a list of options to boot". [opensuse] megaraid_sas driver for 2.4 kernel

Hi, I need to compile megaraid_sas into a 2.4 kernel but I've not been able to locate a copy of the source, seen a few pre-compiled 2.4 kernels with this already in but no sources. I have to use 2.4 and can't upgrade to 2.6 sorry! Could anyone point me in the right direction. [opensuse] Suse 10.2 - postfix not started

Hi, I fresh install of 10.2 in text mode (no X at all). After the install, the only thing I did was to make online update, so the system is current. Upon boot, postfix fails, and in the mail.err lof file I see: "fatal: config variable inet_interfaces: host not found: ::1" I googled, and I found some old thread about 9.3, but it does not look like helpful, as it says to modify the inet_interfaces in main.cf. But in mine all inet_interfaces are commented out, and according to the comments this mean all interfaces will be used. The only place I see "::1" is in my /etc/hosts file, where after that are listed licalhost, my short host name, and my extended hostname (incl. the domain). I also has the 127.0.0.1 line with the same. How do I fix all this?
